The one thing in the favour of this conservative approach is that there are plenty of gaps through the Titans- We exposed a number of them last time without converting the chances.

We've just got to keep them out, which is the bigger problem. This reverses a bit against other opposition.

Happy to see Demi get the nod as a starter, but overall a bit disappointed if I'm honest.

I guess this is Webby's first time to really test out his game plan with Tanah's boot, and Berry and Capewell chasing all day.

I was looking forward to seeing Niukore being moved from that edge to see if that's where the defensive issues start, and we might see some changes closer to game day but yeah, was hoping for something a bit different

That stuff article I posted mentioned that like against the bulldogs, there’s a possibility of late changes. Could be that as the week goes on and Berry shows he’s healthy that changes are made?

Not gonna touch on why X player was not selected over Y player. As I already agree with a lot of it.

But hopfully boyd and clark knock it out of the park. I've got to say there previous profmance against there old club was pretty awful. They read Boyd like a book and it felt like clark got started well but then got dominated.

For boyd I'm still not sold on his kicking game as he is yet to be up there in avarage kick meters per kick (not even top 5). But i did love how he got a running game late into the dragons game. That better be more than just a flash in the pan, and he does it even better against a titan's team who will very likely shut him down again if all he does is passes every time he gets the ball. As i don't think his kicking game is better than JC.

For clark i just hope he doesn't forget his offloading game and is bit more patient with the ball. The titans wore him down quickly last time.

Only real issue i have is how light the bench is for our props. As were only carrying one on the bench. I've got to assume marata goes into prop either one hour before the game, or after 20 mins when leka subs on.

I would prefer healey over martin, but overall happy with this team, happy for leka to take a step back.

Really don't understand why people are upset over this team listing. It's pretty much as expected. Rocco needs to come back in to fix the edge defense. If the last month have proven anything, it's that utility back cover is more important than ever so it really is a given that TMM has to come in at the expense of Healey. It is what it is.

This is close to the best team we can put out there at the moment bar Mets and Barney.

I think its the best 17 we have available to implement Webby’s game plan. Need to play to our strengths which is getting the ball in the right areas and make the Titans work out of their own 20. Berry and Boyd are the best options for that.

Need a lot less errors and better disclipline to do that though.

TMM is too much of a mr do it all, for Webby to do that. It is annoying because Egan is a competent enough half and CHT can cover a number of positions. Capewell can cover centre. Pompey wing, RTS/DWZ fullback.

Good to see Demi get his first start if that stays the same at kick off. Hopefully Berry doesn't fall apart as he may help that edge defensively.
