Is he wrong though?
No one's perfect but I think TMM has an astute rugby league mind borne from experience in the better clubs up to when he suffered his injury. He was a fullback then and would fulfill that role admirably if given the chance. He would organise defences from the back but, more importantly, would be another attacking weapon on either side of the field. I believe he has been wasted in reserve grade and his role on the bench for the NRL. He is too good to be just covering injuries (including in the forwards!).
