He had 8 games at 7 for us last season from memory so a third of the season.
Actually tmm played 16 games last year for 6 wins from what I can see

He literally said 8 games as a 7, which is the point of the discussion, nowhere did he say total games played.

What TMM does or doesn't do as a 6, 9, 13 or anything else is as relevant to the 7 discussion as what Tanah would do in those positions.

Yes mate I can read and understand what was said
I commented on the overall story of the season rather than cherry picking.
Hopefully that's okay with you. 😃
PS TMM struggled at 6 last year and is not an option at 9 (replaced after a few minutes a few weeks ago) and untried at 13 as I remember so his worth as a 14 is just a myth IMO

Haha mate I haven't said Healey is a utility at all?

I'm struggling with some of the things you're saying....many teams carry a hooker on the bench, because it's a tried and true tactic, especially when you have two good hookers
TMM isn't on the bench because of his impact, he's there in case we have injuries. Fair enough, it's a valid decision to make, especially as we've been hit by injuries a lot this year but to say it's disrupting the team to fit in 'a fan favourite' is a bit bizarre. Imo he's in our top 17 because his skills and style of play make our overall 17 stronger.

TMM on the bench doesn't do that, he's there for injury cover and to cover the potential loss of one of our backs.

Each to their own though, I think it's clear what you would prefer and I think it's clear what I would prefer
BTW, You're one of my favourite members. I enjoy your posts. And like you, I love what Healy has to offer us. I think when we get all our troops back, Healthy and fit. Healy will lock down that 4th bench spot. Or dare I say it, Start!? Lol.

He was a ver competent fullback for the Cowboys (or Broncos?) before his serious brain injury. The fact that he has resumed his league career after the break (of maybe 3-4 years) shows his courage.
He is very versatile. Covers fullback having played very well there for the Broncos, put out similar if not better stats than Metcalf at 6 last year, killed it at 7 for eight games as well, covered Egan against the Titans a couple of games back when he got his head knock, putting in the hard yards with 40+ tackles before being switched with CHT to try and create something in the halves, has played lock one game and has covered center as well. Other teams like the Storm have played Wishart off the bench or Panthers had Brad Schneider in a similar role. He has certainly had to fill in a number of positions over the last 10-12 weeks and not afraid to get stuck in mixing it with the forwards in the middle of the park. Very useful player particularly with Capewell playing in the centers or our for origin. With Capewell back in the second row I think we can switch him out for Healey as there is enough versatility in the side to cover most in game injuries and Healey provides a bit of spark at dummy half off the bench.

Personally I think TMM should be 7 and Healey 14 for the run home and finals.

Tomorrow at 6.00 will be intriguing

With his head injury history I have reservations about him defending in the middle at hooker or lock, seems like asking for trouble. Should stick to half or fb only imo.

You are either cleared to play or your not IMO. You have second rowers and big bodies picking you out as a half and your having to make 20 tackles a game there anyway. Probably better to have a big bopper either side of you in the middle than Kikau running at you one on one?

Backing Tanah Boyd for a revenge game against his old crew. The running on the weekend gave me a bit of hope that he's a bit more than a Temu Adam Reynolds.

Surely the only way is up from the 0 try, 0 try assist, 0 line break assist, 6 missed tackles, 72% tackle efficiency, 33% goal kicking performance on the weekend.
You can't just look at one game.

Im not anti, I just want him to live up to the hype. Boyd is clearly not it, so wtf is TMM doing? I can see why he's Webby's last resort...
What hype???
There is no hype. No one is saying he’s the next greatest thing since SJ or Metcalf. But the fact is he covers multiple positions and is better than CHT and Boyd combined. It’s just a pity he can’t kick but to be honest, he’s not a natural half and his best spot is fullback

If Metcalf wasn’t made of glass we wouldn’t be having this debate
