Couldn't really see a pattern with clubs deciding who would back up. Seemed pretty random.

I really just think it comes down to how the plays feel the day after

Looks like Barnett won't be playing this week. That rule is shit, but it is what it is. We are barely ever impacted at origin time so can't complain overall.

Those who play in the 17 usually back up a few days later with a short turnaround

Why wouldn’t the 18th man be allowed to do the same? Especially if he doesn’t even play?

We need more big bodies and we need more energy more speed. Our bench just didn't do enough for us and that's where we lose a lot of momentum. Jazz just can't put up that energy week in week out anymore. He didn't disgrace himself but he just isn't every week NRL standard no more.

I'd like to see Laban in for Barney, even if he only ends up playing 40 minutes in that starting role. He's had a few weeks back in NSW, I think reinjecting him to top flight would be good. Otherwise the team really picks itself. If Pompey is out I imagine RTS stays at centre and Kosi comes in.

Also dosen’t look good for Rocco. Potential nerve damage in his neck that caused his arm to go numb. Similar to what’s happened with Flagler that’s kept him out for the entire season. Fingers crossed it’s not as bad as first thought.

Hopgood it doubtful. So maybe Kaufusi into the 17 and a replacement 18?? QLD doesn’t have huge experienced depth in their forwards. So Capewell would certainly be in the mix

Montoya might be a better centre than wing now, agressive defender but slow as fuck, put Ali or Rog outside him. How did he go when he played there in the past, anyone remember?

I really like Ford in the middle, but Laban and Niukore can't cover 160 mins on the edge and think moving Ford is better than having someone else there.

Actually excited about what this upcoming team could be - we know DWZ and Rocco are out ... we also know that RTS is going to be available. Would put a big question around Montoya too. We've also seen some ofthe NSW cup players tearing it up.

Would love to see Taine back in, though I imagine he'll be first drop Fullback for a while yet.
