Or on the flipside as Berry is known for his strong Defense, he comes into sure things up and puts pressure on the kick chase.

Don’t expect any miracles

The guy hasn’t played first grade since he busted his arm ironically against the Storm at MSS

I just hope he can maintain his tackles and timing because if I was the Storm I would pick him as a weak spot to exploit on attack. Ali on the other side isn’t much better if we’re being honest

There is no doubt there is something brewing for this game. The comments by the fans in this thread are the greatest posts I have ever seen in a game day thread such is the meaning of this match for legacy reasons.

There is one game you forgot Undertaker in your recount of heart breaks. Round 7 2019 Storm 13 - Warriors 12.
Led into battle by our young half back CHT with the senior Tohu Harris at stand off in the greatest game certainly I ever seen in the regular season the Warriors battled to an unlikely winning position. We had a storm player in a surrender tackle but the ref blew us for a penalty for lying in the ruck. Naturally we got an apology after the game and victory went undeservedly to them.

In the stands amongst the 30,000 at AMI park will be 8-10,000 Warriors faithful who live in the Melbourne area or have travelled to the game from other parts of Australia. They will represent the Warriors nation and barrack as hard as they can even though completely outnumbered by the Storm home crowd.

Buckle up Warriors fans. Every time we play the Storm history writes a new chapter and win lose or draw today will be no different.

God speed Rocco Berry - may you play well and not be too rusty. Not asking for much. Just hold up your end and make your spot tackles stick.

Kia Kaha Warriors
Surprised you remember that far back ….. being new to league and all… 🙄

Got to beat them up. Paps and Grant can be undone with physical pressure
Yep. When we played them in rd 2 last year, they both kind of lost the plot towards the end. Grant passed the ball intentionally into Ford who was lying on the ground. We got the penalty to kick clear by 6. Then Paps decided to attempt a blatant illegal strip on Barney and we went ahead by 8 with like 5 mins to go. That really should have been the end of the game last year.

Use that jam defense and put Ali and Pomps on a seek and destroy mission

Yes let's be honest. Ta. That was refreshing

Bellamy's take of Katoa is he needed to get in shape.

Where others on this site put that on the Warriors I put that on the player.

So many Gold Medal NZ Olympians under no name coaches defeat opponents coached by diamond league Multi Million dollar coaching/athlete teams.

The reason John Walker could eat fish and chips then run twenty Km's home after school was he was a nut for training himself - before coaches even came into the equation.

Hearing Erin Clark say harden up in not so many words about todays conditions is why he is harder and tougher than Katoa was at the Warriors under the same coaching system...coz Clark is self driven...especially after coming from an even shitter coaching set up.
