Fark i forgot about that.... thanks for reminding me![]()
I’ll never forget this. Here we are, a battered beaten club. Now I know Smith Bellamy and Hoffman were coming from a space of good intentions - but this is the moment during the covid years that our soul was stripped from us. 2 years later we go to AAMI park for Anzac Day with our team in bits after being away from home for 2 years and we get battered 70-10. Then… Coates last year. Another moment that has left permanent mental scars.
The Melbourne Storm are a good team and a proud club led by good people. But they are also ruthless grubs who love to shovel salt into gaping wounds. The wound they opened up in 2020 has never closed for me - and won’t until we do to them what they have done to us.
Sometimes you go on a long losing streak and each game, improvements are made which means you get closer and closer to a win. Robbie Deans taught me this. It’s about continuing to work towards improving which eventually will get you that win.
I think today might be the day we exorcise at least one of those demons. It is time the streak is put to bed. It’s about time we as Warriors take back our mana. Our pride. Our soul.
We take back what’s rightfully ours. What Cameron smith, Craig Bellamy and co stole from us during Covid.
This is our moment of redemption.
I hope our team runs out today with belief, dignity and courage and plays as a unified team to batter, rattle and unhinge this Storm team. We defend our line like we are defending our honour.
It’s time to finish this once and for all.
The grave has been dug. Time to bury the storm and their curse over us.
that's what we want.Bit of a scorcher today (for us anyway), could be a battle of attrition.
Ciraldo talking about their ability to move the ruck sideways through the the tackler was interesting. I wonder if we are doing something similar as we are dominating the middle. This is where mobility of the pack is in many respects more important than size. Manly and Sharks have huge middles who constantly get left on the ground by the smaller, but faster mobile packs like us and the dogs. Size is an impediment sometimes to having fitter forwards that can maintain crazy line speed for 80 minutes.
Yep. Was hoping for a wet day. A hot dry track plays into their hands more than ours.I'm a bit worried about the heat. Melbourne will move us around much more than we will do it them
Who the fuck does that cunt think he is!![]()

let's be honest: nothing Ciraldo says is anything new: he is basically re-making the Penrith model to the Dogs image on the backs of many of their ex players. Nothing wrong with that: the system clearly works with the right players (ie Penrith players). But I get a bit sick of the media pumping him up as if he is some new coaching guru. Their entire rebuild is based on stealing as many penrith players as possible. Same as Wests this year.Ciraldo talking about their ability to move the ruck sideways through the the tackler was interesting. Warriors should be paying around $3.00 imoPredicting an exposure today.
Excellent gameplan against the lesser teams. No good against the better ones.
(Mainly, the ones with big packs)
Warriors paying $5.60 at the TAB though…..
I got a 3 leg multi in at $18.25 and odds dropped twice trying to place 21-19-16.. Power play back to 18.25.Warriors should be paying around $3.00 imo
Lol, then NZ blows out to $6..I got a 3 leg multi in at $18.25 and odds dropped twice trying to place 21-19-16.. Power play back to 18.25.
Looks like some late money coming in
