Spelling Nazi In Da House. It's Healey. Not Healy.

We don' need no stinkin' Healy.

I'm fine with the switcheroo, planned or not.

Nothing to do with that now I know it means I can switch my Fantasy Team around rather than be caught out. COUGH COUGH.

It's sensible to rest Wayde since it's a game we don't need at all (We're going to be Top 4 Tuesday Morning whatever happens and I can't see us being any better than Top 2, surely the Bulldogs and the Warriors won't combine to overturn our poor PD comparison to that extent!) and maybe there's a bit of Psycho War: "this is what you idiots let leave the building, Sharkies!" at play...

If TMM is subbing on for a hooker for over 15-20 mins then i think lussick is a much better option. Nor do i think he's trained his body for that long of a stint in the middle, plus it removes him from the reason he is on the bench, backs cover...
but Lussick hasn't really trained at hooker much this year either has he? We've been largely playing him in the middle for cup. I understand your argument, just trying to think through what webby has in mind. He must have some reason for not believing Freddy is quite ready yet to come back up to nrl.

We had two NSW origin potential and probable players, both are out.

If that doesn't say we have lost the best of our imports then nothing does.

Thing is, in the past the Warriors never have had three Aussies in the origin conversation (Barnett, Egan, Capewell) mark that down as Webster and McFadden achievements.

In the past the Warriors have never lost two Talisman Aussies in a season of the calibre of Barnett and Egan, if you look at player ratings for games across multiple seasons those two are almost always in the top three fan voted players.

I guess we are looking at a full assault of our competition chances from here, the world war three siren just went off at Mt Smart. With Healy and Laban, and Leka and Dimitric, we are really well and truly running out there with a development squad look to the team.

We still have a lot of experience out there tonight. Capes (former SOO player), RTS (a former captain), JFH (our captain and NZ captain), etc. To call it a development squad is a tad dramatic.

I think you are being a tad dramatic...
I am. It is intentional. The loss of two of our best players on the Eve of a top four clash is dramatic.

Look, nothing you or I say gets around the fact the Egan and Barnett are absolute Star players in the defence of the Warriors and they are star players in the Warriors attack.

They are two guys that are everywhere on the field, their workload alone is immense.

You will find there is a reason the Warriors go well in the first half and cling on in the second. These two are at the core of why that pattern happens when they go off.

I see a lot of fans don't get that when their exciting runners like Leka and Healy and Dimitric are out there that our defence becomes loose in the middle and on the edges and that our one percenters fall off.

Thing is this, Egan and Barnett are glue players that hold our whole gritty defensive thing we have going on together.

Hopefully Egan is back after the Bye.

I had this game a bridge too far even before the Egan news.

That said ive thought that a number of times this season, and every time this team has just resilienced up and found a way to win.....doubtful but would be one for the ages if we pull it off again.

You just know Addins primed for a big one, get up early and gang tackle the fark out of him about the best we can do. And dont fall for that little late step at the line. Once he gets that momentum into contact he's won the ruck.

Nothing to lose here. Bye next week.....leave nothing in the tank boys! Roll on rum time!

Imagine if we were playing them last year.....then we give them AFB ....and we drop Barnett and Egan off our side.

And somehow fans are scripting positives out of this....despite that the 2025 Sharks are even stronger than the 2024 version.

If we win it will be a massive shock upset and I for one would be over the moon. Mean time I refuse to pretend we are a decent chance on paper.

Sharks will try to run Iro at Capewah all day. Like the Broncos, Dragons, Dolphins before them, they probably think he is the weak link in our defensive system. Been hearing them talk a lot about Capewell's edge all week. Given the current uncertainties around QLD, another origin recall isn't out of the question if Capewah does another great job here. No one else is really putting their hand up for selection based on the games post origin I. So the old fella will have all motivation in the world to come up trumps for us again.

Have they not watched any of our blockbusters with him at centre?

Bang on. I suspect Healey can create a few things, but it'll be interesting to see if he can make 40 tackles. Egan leads the tackle count for all players in the NRL - on defence this season, he's basically been an extra edge/middle hybrid.

Hopefully SydneyWarrior is right and they send Iro at Capewell. He will get snapped in half.
Both their wingers Katoa and Hiroti are suspect under the high ball. Thats the area id target. Roosters scored 4 against them this way in their last game.

That said, first we'd have to win the territory battle so we're down the right end of the park to do this......so per usual, up front is where its won or lost.
