Last 10 (?) years we have won 4/26 (?) games at this time slot in Aus.
Any idea where you read that stat? Just wanting to compare if we were any better in that timeslot when the team resided in Australia

Yeah my mistake for believing in the team and thinking they could win. Not CHT fault either that hes a choker and can’t kick

Yep its on me the Warriors lost 🙄
How would you feel if he becomes depressed and needs to go on a short term application of medication over this. Both for anxiety and depression induced by strong fan reactions reinforcing his own negative feelings towards himself after missing the easy kick?
He is a very sensitive guy judging by his writing I read. I will leave your own posting style to your own decisions naturally.

Believe it or not there’s far worse in other forums than my post…

I think it was the other Hudson Young try that I thought Niukore made a very poor read in defence.
But even then, that's kinda my point.
If we make kneejerk reactions when someone has a poor read (and guess what, over a while season most players will make the wrong call occasionally) then we'd be rolling out a different 17 every week
Yeah looks like he chose to go for the decoy runner instead, split second decision. In saying that RTS and I think its TMM should have had the decoy covered if the ball went there.

Exactly right though, you'd never create consistancy changing the team week in week out. Possibly why we've struggled, cant remember the last time we rolled out the same team for a few weeks in a row due to injuries. Same with the Broncs and look at how they're travelling compared to both teams last year

Five of them all huddled in that left corner is ridiculous

That wasn’t all on Nikoure. He was the first marker.
Mind boggling right, not much they could do though, all but DWZ were in the tackle on Kris, maybe he should have moved in field but the ball was played faster than we could scramble anyway

A prev poster posted it in another recent thread in the last week-at that stage it was 3/25 I think and again 10 years I think.

I thought you would come back and maybe have access to where that stat is.

But geez I ve been watching this team since 95 and my memory says we very rarely win this 8 pm Aus games remember one at Parramatta where we got flogged.

No.

He needs to man up and take it on the chin.

We all fuck up in life. It’s normal.
The question is how you bounce back from adversity.

Giving him a hug and telling home everything gonna be alright - I leave that to his mum.

You fucked up Chanel. You fucked up bad. It cost me $$$$, the club $$$$ and our season. And you fucked up Multiple times. Now take your punishment like a man. Learn from it and come back bigger and stronger next year. This year is done. You can repent in NSW Cup

Hey!! All those 🙄

Please note…. 🖕!!
Compared to the number of times Shaun's fucked up (his fuck ups being things like doing Fuck All with good field position, running 'round in circles like a twat 'cos he didn't have a plan with 6 down and 5 minutes left in the Second Half and the like), Chanel doesn't owe anyone anywhere near as much.
And so it cost money - cost me money, too, but the Warriors weren't favourites so it wasn't money I was expecting.
Yes, he needs to be more accurate but I suspect the Warriors might have decided Adam Pompey is now the man for kicking and made SJ's his Backup, but not who's SJ's Backup. Sure, you don't want the entire team spending hours in kicking practice, but 3-4 wouldn't hurt, surely?

Sneaky question: How many times have a Queensland-based team won when the effin' NRL have duded them by making them play on Sunday 2PM in Auckland in August, which is the coldest month?

Lose a fullback and 2 outside backs against the Dogs only to get screwed at the end by a penalty no call, lose in golden point.

Lose a fullback and an outside back who happens to be your goalkicker, score 4 tries to 3, but can't kick any conversions, lose by 2 points.

What can you do? We don't have match winners where it matters, our margin for victory is already pretty thin normally let alone that sort of injury luck.

Just not our year boys. Best thing that can happen now is further development and try a few combinations that might click and give us more game winning/changing ability next year.

Might have a look this arvo as rugbyleagueproject.org has local kickoff times. A quick look already shows we didn't play late when Australian based & we got a win at 8pm in Sydney vs Dragons last year.
25 games in that slot over the last 10 years seems rather high.
Will get back to ya

We need a a new Coach
Who do you suggest?
TMM played as if SJ was out there tonight. The performance and effort was way down on the wins over Penrith, Cows, Dolphins & Broncos.

We lost 2 key players again but Webster needs to pick Sifakula and some more physical, hungry players. Ford, Lussick and Jazz to NSW Cup.

2 fucked loses but we put ourselves in this position with some poor performances earlier.
Why Jazz? He tackled his heart out and contributed to our first try

I'm interested in the average age of our posters here.

Who remembers Stacey shanking that shot in Wellington against the Bulldogs in 2001?

That was for the win. There is a distinct lack of correlation on here leading me to think it is from a time long forgotten!

Mid 60s here
CHT last night wasn't even close to the worst kicking performance I've seen from the Warriors in nearly 30 years of watching

Thanks CCES be interesting to see.
Amazing when we were Redliffe/GC/Central Coast covid constrained and based we didnt get that 8 pm slot.

You said it!!! At least you’re not blaming Webby, your old school teacher or the man that cuts the lawns. Good on you for taking responsibility for last nights performance.
