Man, I feel like a constant whinger but I feel this refs being pretty blatant with pinging us when ever he can.

We've made a load of errors so haven't gotten out of first gear, yet we largely controlled that first half fairly well and we're getting a role on until Charnz kicked that ball dead. Some basic school boy errors tho, good to get them out of the way early.

Can someone quickly show Laban how to play the ball? If Webby doesn't say anything Laban will 100% get pinged again

It’s looking like our attack will be mainly off the cuff. Boys look energetic, short passes, offloads, strong carries.

Everything looks fast.

Execution poor, handling poor.

Regardless it has the DNA of a pretty fun year of footy to watch, we actually look more unpredictable in a good way

I thought Fish looked super busy on defence while he was out there. Seemed to be covering all over the show.

Where all just used to seeing AFB steamroll us up the field. Fish on the overhand making 2-3 tackles a set and consistently coming in to back up his defenders is something you would rarely see out of AFB.

Kosi is an embarrassment. Looks like someone called up from club footy, completely out of his depth.

He literally is that player from park footy who by some miracle got a Warriors trial and made the squad.

He is you and me bro, all the dreamers who never made it, Ed Kosi is that guy and the only reason he is there is that he has insane speed for the amount of beef he is packing, otherwise he would never be picked by any NRL club,

He is a gamble a long shot, a nobody that happens to be huge and quick. And unlike Manu Vatuvei, this guy was no rising star in Juniors in the Auckland comp, this guy was not on any agents radar.

As such, whether the Warriors are right or wrong about their Ed Kosi association, they are at least rolling the dice on the roughest diamond the Warriors system has ever gambled on.

I was quite optimistic prior to this games team selection. I am really unsure why our best ball playing half isn't at 7. The play is boring and predictable again. As I feared AW talked a good game but has reverted to type. Wrong selections, wrong plan. We look terrible and struggling against a Sharks C team. We will struggle to score points this season if we continue with this. I know it's only one half of the first preseason game but I have gone from we should make the eight to we could realistically be winless after 6 games.

We have made 30 more tackles and some how 4 more passes. So i think we are playing a more active version of footy. If that works or not who knows.

After seeing this half. I dunno man, hes' got the kicking, he runs deep into the line, roams really well and has held the middle in def. And has only played 26 games! So he has plenty of growth. He is also massive in the community, i honestly think he is the best 7 we got (for the 3 more games we get out of him before some shit injury).
