TBH that was close to the worst game the cup team played all year. They made fundamental errors in our red zone that led to pretty much all of the dogs tries. It really was individual brilliance from certain players that was the difference today. Nonetheless that's what a good team does- they find ways to win even when they aren't on their game.

Crosby and Salalillo are my smokies for NRL debuts in 2026. Crosby is probably further along than Ken though. Ending up with a bench that includes Demi, Leka, Crosby and Healey next year would be fire.
Worst game with some brilliant moments turns it into our best win minor premierships🏆

Goddamn kids… Took my 15-year-old to a mate’s place, then she hits me with, “Oh, by the way, you’ve got to pick up another kid and drop me somewhere else.”

Next thing I know, I’ve missed the entire second half and half the first.

So… asking for a friend — how’d the boys go, and who was busy shining while I was running the unofficial Uber service for teenagers?

Fatialofa’s ahead of all those listed. To be fair, the NSW Cup side from 10 rounds ago to now has been decimated by injuries and first-grade call-ups.

David Tangata-Toa has done a terrific job getting the Cup boys NRL-ready. Love their spirit — and the commitment to the team song. Bunty, Tom, Kalani and others have done a great job as mentors and leaders.

Also… who’s Ken?

This is an impressive season they have had. This grade it isn't easy to be consistent with players getting pulled from the side to play first grade or brought in late when they get scratched from the first grade side. Then add in injuries.

Been out all day and thought I'd check in on the score. Saw the Bulldogs points and thought a shame they must have lost. Then check more closey. Damn they won.

I know there is more to it when you see a high scoring game. Just pointing out how they continue to win.

Bunty and Ale are gone next year like it or not.

I think it will be Salalilo and Crosby into top 30 next year.

I don’t think this happens straight away, maybe after having them battle it out over preseason with some Aus train and trial guys.

One will likely move into one of the starting NSW Cup prop vacancies left by Bunty and Ale (the other filled by TSS when Barney returns from injury)

Then I think off the bench will be a combination of Sikuvea, Tuipolutu-Vea, Durbin.

Then I also expect Laumalili and Ravosai to get prop appearances off the bench too through injuries.
