Such a gritty win today.so we are 9 pts ahead of Dragons with 4 games to play. So we are officially minor premiers. We're also undefeated for 15 straight games. What a team this is.
Worst game with some brilliant moments turns it into our best win minor premiershipsTBH that was close to the worst game the cup team played all year. They made fundamental errors in our red zone that led to pretty much all of the dogs tries. It really was individual brilliance from certain players that was the difference today. Nonetheless that's what a good team does- they find ways to win even when they aren't on their game.
Crosby and Salalillo are my smokies for NRL debuts in 2026. Crosby is probably further along than Ken though. Ending up with a bench that includes Demi, Leka, Crosby and Healey next year would be fire.
Fatialofa’s ahead of all those listed. To be fair, the NSW Cup side from 10 rounds ago to now has been decimated by injuries and first-grade call-ups.TBH that was close to the worst game the cup team played all year. Seems to be the same every week. Slow starters then over power the oppositionSuch a gritty win today.
Looks like coach must've rarked em up at half time
Getting the best out of the fg team should always be the priorityJust hope Webby doesn't rape the NSW Cup side.
Give them every chance to WIN their comp.
We have no show in the top comp.
Apparently his name, or at least nickname, is actually Kiwithis kiwi commentator on bart sports is a legend. Great try.
Ok so I didn’t want to comment about Harper because people on here thing I’m either his mum or wife (I am neither). I am originally from his hometown tho so I do pay more attention. After saying he did FA I watched the game again and also looked at his stats (over his last few games). His workload is quite high actually. He did 15 tackles yesterday (missed 2) , didnt run for many metres but was more than other side and the ball went other side more. No errors but gave away 1 penalty. Not bad in those conditions. He does a lot of tackles most weeks and efficiency is high (other than one week where he had a shocker). So as much as I may stick up for him - some of the guys on here bag him without actually him deserving it. Up the Wahs - Minor Premiers - boom
Why? Why change the combos - then look to revert back. If you are going to make a change - you make a change that may stickWould this coming game be the week to give Fatialofa a go at Centre to see how he goes before reverting back to usual combos ahead of playoffs?
I’m not sure they will move anyone else up (unless more injuries).Getting the best out of the fg team should always be the priority
My reasoning would be, keeping in mind the Cup team is primarily a development one, the result this week isn't of high importance in their season, due to Fatialofa's consistency no one else has really played in that spot so giving someone else minutes there is a bit of future proofing for if he is unavailable for any playoff games, and primarily because (based off of other people's opinions who I respect) he's more of a NRL Centre prospect because of his size and the log jam of other Second Rowers in the systemWhy? Why change the combos - then look to revert back. If you are going to make a change - you make a change that may stick
