The best options for back up lock are Niukore and Barnett who are filling other roles that would need to be back filled if they went to lock. I know some people rate Ale as a lock. I have never ever seen him make a single pass at NRL level. Now maybe he can as the coaches would have simplified his role when he played prop and told him just to tuck it under his wing and go. But to have never passed it ? I mean Lisone had a real good pass. Must be able to distribute as a lock in 2025.

Would need more than just one experiment. He did look really good there though I admit for the 20 minutes he was out there two games ago. So maybe ??? But would need to see him replicated it at least three or four times to have any confidence in him. But yes good point.

Tmm is an under appreciated asset
I maybe think Tmm as 14 last what three weeks is maybe an indication that coach AW is aware that Tmm adds a lot of value
And from what I see Tmm is a lovely fella

Well who knows - TMM is 87kgs soaking wet. But I googled the smallest lock I can think of Max Plath and he is no bigger and is also 87kgs.

Would love Talatau Koula in our backline.
His speed and ability to get on the outside,his backing up and opportunistic instincts would compliment our team.
Wouldn't matter who he partners up with on the otherside(Pompey,Ali,Berry)
It just gives us an all out attacking center with a power or defensive center.
I'm old school and still remember center pairings like.

Demi has been covering for Clark who played big minutes recently due to Barney and/or Fish out, he’d be the cover or Ale

I don’t think we need to bring in anyone unless it’s a shock huge player that we never signed last month, if we want a faster FB there’s TT or TMM, Ed is doing well for wing cover, we have 4 halfbacks, 3 centres, they did sign Harper and everyone vomited and our pack is great if a captain or two are leading it

We just need the coach to get the attacking shape going, if Luke is having a go at Leka and Ali then he’s ready to tick the next box - shape attack and DWZ corner finishes

Leka has to learn to hold ball and offload sometimes
We want someone who can split defences with an offload
If I was Metcalf I would be yelling too!
We don’t just want an up the guts back fencer like Bunty

While not in the elite bracket Sexton seems to be a decent club man and I feel pretty bad for him. Somethings got to give. It's making a mockery of the fans that invest in the club and it's squad for the season. Hope Sexton carves it up elsewhere.

I agree, this is terrible! He's doing a great job at the dogs. The pressure on galvin to immediately make an impact in a position he doesn't play is a huge risk!

We should make a play for Mitchell Wood, and release Boyd

Will be interesting to keep an eye on the storm. Apparently before they acquired Pahulu yesterday, they were keen on Finau Latu from dragons who signed with bulldogs for next year. With Pahulu an immediate move, they also wanted Latu immediately and were offering NAS to make it happen

IMO Ciraldo's probably as naive and weak at controlling toxic individuals as Webby was last year, Webby basically cleaned house gradually, Ciraldo's situation is really out of nowhere
