happyImagine if DCE actually came to Warriors and was the chosen one to finally get us a premiership in his final playing years, after denying us in his first year. Wouldn't know how to feel about that![]()

Not NRL but it did work in originDoes that work? Had a team bought an aging 7 on short term contract and won the comp?
Looks to me like a Roosters and Warriors GF then.
Hope Tapine hears the call of the Fish.Man, I'm struggling, how is anyone getting any sleep?
This is the greatest week in Warrior recruitment history. We have signed Ponga, Hughes, Cleary, Cobbo. Surely there isn't one more signing to come? Is there? Our NSW cup team is going to be insane depth!
A person asked for a source on the tigers forum for the rumour, and another poster said that the person who posted it gets their info from a player agent. No idea of its genuine or not? We certainly seem to be creating space for someone and I get the feeling it’s a fullback with CNK on his way out at the end of the seasonLooks to me like a Roosters and Warriors GF then.
I'd be more inclined on the Roosters part given their recruitment history.Well-known member
Ponga to Warriors
Galvin to Roosters with DCE
I can see DCE to roosters, but I’m having a hard time seeing Galvin being that Nick Politis apparently won’t deal with Issac Moses, who’s Galvin’s manager. Could also be concerns with the amount of injuries Walker picks up? If Galvin were to leave tigers, I could see it being eels more than any other teamI'd be more inclined on the Roosters part given their recruitment history.
Even that would seem strange with them already having Walker on their books. One of those two listed maybe as it would mean Walker still being part of their future.
Mind you it would be a Roosters thing to sign these two and push Walker out.
Why would they not build their franchise around Walker? He is young and just getting better?I can see DCE to roosters, but I’m having a hard time seeing Galvin being that Nick Politis apparently won’t deal with Issac Moses, who’s Galvin’s manager. As mentioned in the post you’ve replied to, perhaps concerns about his injury? I can’t give you any definitive answers as it’s just a rumour I saw and no idea of its validity. Roosters were publicly keen on SJ and Ben Hunt, so I don’t think it’s a stretch that they might be interested in DCE being that they ended up with Chad TownsendWhy would they not build their franchise around Walker? He is young and just getting better?
He might have tapped into something, rapping his sermons? Certainly eloquent with his wordsHe goes by his rap name Mayfair now and has a new venture - bible studies.

Taylan May reveals what has to happen before he'll return to the NRL
The chances of troubled former Penrith Panthers star Taylan May returning to the footy limelight appeared to take a nose dive when he wasn't connected to any clubs after a recent legal win.www.dailymail.co.uk
A certain halfback north of the border was approached about a move to Bondi, which he rejected but at that meeting with certain powerbrokers was told Ponga had been approached about replacing Teddy, which was also rejected because he had a handshake agreement with a certain side from NZ. At same meeting, Galvin was mentioned as being signed to succeed certain aging halfback in two years time.Source ??
Cheers for that. I hadn’t seen that onetigerballs

Ambiguous as I can be to keep identities secret
Off the tigers forum.
Also, three former players as well - it doesn't necessarily say we shouldn't have let them go, but players are leaving our system as good players (and in some cases better players than when they arrived - e.g., Montoya). Well done Webby, Cappy and co.
Good to see we’ve got two in there as good signings
