I hope we don’t do the typical kiwi thing when we are down is to shoehorn in a backrower in 5/8. I hope guys like docker clay or maybe even cup guys get an opportunity if they are genuine halves options for the future. Sometimes tournaments like this are good opportunities to blood young players to build for the future. Aussies had to do it in 2014 and at other times so if we need to build our depth at the expense of losing this tournament so be it in my eyes.

CNK only played 17 games this year. Yes, he looked like he was out on his feet at times but he should be rested up now and ready to go if needed?

He would be an automatic selection for me with the experience we have out.


What happens next year if 17 games is to many for the guy?
