Nah, I love watching Josh Allen, absolute talent. I think you've just highlighted one of the things I like about football; it's a massive cultural thing. Each team has their own fan lead craziness to take in.

I watched a game in the early 2000's, with a mate who loves the Steelers. As per my normal way of picking a team, I chose to support the opposite team to them.

A lot of it is the same people posting as they can't sell them (the page is for people already going...). A few with last minute sicknesses etc

The nrl are kind of stupid for making these official games I think they should of made them for seasons end games and tried to find NFL players to join in for each team - the real fans and the most most likely to flip wouldn't miss it if they were actually involved

I love the tie in to NFL. Get a few players involved and the engagement and following in the US would explode.

How’s this for a compromise: Im thinking the All Stars type indigenous game with an unlimited interchange and 2-3 NFL players on each side. The NFL players would be Native American, African American or Polynesian ancestry with a big US style highlight about their culture.

Maybe use recently retired players from both sports with softer tackles depending on the players age and play it alongside the current games? Have 20 minute quarters with lots of long breaks for players and an NFL type feel. Also throw in a NFL style time out per half?

I just know this would explode in the US every time an NFL player smashed someone or got smashed where it would go viral on their social media.

Works for our market as well if you got a Thurston type legend playing and the time out novelty and US style production would make an interesting watch!

You do, but the price is ludicrous.

For the same price you could get a seat to a game at Mt Smart, a few beers at the ground, a great meal beforehand and probably still have enough leftover for a box for kick-ons.
