I'll admit the refereeing did frustrate me. But it ended up both ways as we got some soft penalties and also got away with a forward pass late in the game.

The DWZ tackle in the in goal. I often joke the refs sometimes look at the rules more as guidelines. A player catching the ball in the in goal gets tackled in the air. If the player doesn't tackle him he lands and scores. What is their argument, you can't guarantee he'd catch it and land?

The Egan penalty for pushing Hethrington is another one they are selective with. Yes it is something our guys shouldn't do but you see it a lot with the tacklers pushing or trying to reposition the ball carriuer. Or you see worse ones where they player basically get tackled again or it is messier than that one.

The Ford running through into Hastings. That was a weird one as he hit him front on so you could argue like Roach that Hastings played his part. Due to the angles there wasn't much of a gap for Ford to run through. Those plays were something we were nailing last year with everyone running the correct lines. That one I can see both sides of it.

The disruptor rule is frustrating but the other new one that frustrates me is the leg lift one. Some of them the refs penalise and say it is dangerous but it is pretty much all the player can do.

This loss has really got to me, just fucking fed up, too many years spent following this lot with barely any bright spots, same old rubbish back on the cards just when it looked like we had a glimmer of light. Nope.
Yeah man same, I have just cancelled Kayo, unsubscribed to podcasts, and removed any apps. I have lost interest completely after all these years. Thankfully I live in AFL country and if the NRL gives me the shits I can make it disappear

Watched the game without sound and on my phone. Disappointing however you watched it though I suspect.

It has probably all been said, but...

Game plan needs to stop being focal around SJ. No point having one half as a passenger. Charnze need to be free to work on the left side as well, as defences just jam on Johnson and/or slide to defend the shape that gave us success last year.

We get ourselves into good field position and then can't execute.

Rog hasn't taken to centre as well as initially thought - too run first. I'd be moving him to wing next week, dropping Montoya and bringing in Pompey or Ali.

Forwards went well enough - solid and still getting the go forward - look better with Bunty there. But the killer instinct isn't there in our forwards without a Marata / Sifakula type - probably in part due to being so bloody tired from defending penalties (some of which are shit calls) and errors...

Im gonna attack Webby a bit here. Firstly, as others have mentioned any idea why Capewell and Ford have switched? Ford played good on that edge last year but this year has struggled.

With Capewell injured, id be inclined to put Barnett into the edge as we are missing hard edge runners.

Secondly Tohu. Guys a warrior but is so shot right now. When we let go of Curran I was annoyed as he was perfect for Tohus role.

RTS isnt a centre, either play him on tbe wing or FB. CNK running with thw brakes today.

Lastly, ive always stated TMM is being average at best, yet to see why everyone on HERE rates him highly.

Anyways, bright side v Roosters no one wil give us a chance so we usually play well. Downside, if we show up like this they will put a cricket score on us

Besides not winning and not getting the two points a quick glance you'd think it was better than the last two weeks.

Mainly as we didn't concede as much points.

We managed to defend our line for periods which is an improvement but the weather would have evened it out a lot. The Knights also were not fantastic.

Their first try they scored. CNK is typically safe and that was one of those things you see in wet weather football. Should have been used as an indication for us to kick along the ground.

Their second try. As much as we defended our line. If either try was going to slip off a tackle in the wet or get stuck with a ball runner in between two defenders it likely would have been us. Again it was a good play in the conditions. Get a big guy running off a half in between two defenders.

What injury did Capewell just come back from?

Asking to see if this ankle/calf is a repeat. The fact we can't get him on the field consistently is a worry. Also wondering if we brought him back too early.

The conditions weren't great so we could have ended up with a few more injuries.

I was worried for Walker in the first half.

We were probably also lucky the independent doctor didn't pull off Egan for an HIA.

Mate, we were absolutely awful the first 15min.

We are getting worse, not better. Confidence is being sucked out of this squad.

Bet RTS must be feeling a little duped by agreeing to join the old band by SJ and Tohu. All that Yen would be looking pretty good in his bank account right now.

The following players should be dropped, I don't really mind for who

1) TMM. Last year he was a great defender. In the last four games has had soft shoulders in the impact collisions of tackles and been a weakling in defence. It is ok for a half to be a mediocre defender. But not when they don't offer anything offensively either.
2) Montoya dropped a soda of a catch today and it was a fluke the try was called back. Has been ghastly all season.
3) Berry. He is a good player but Ali is simply better than he is and should come into the side especially since we need to shake things up to get some Wins.
