Wow so you can read the future, if and only if we were allowed the try doesn't that change the way the game was going...
Ps can I have next week's lotto numbers please
Lmao, the salt is amazing. I'm just calling it based on the past two weeks and the first half.
If you think the ref is to blame and that call cost us the game, you have a screw loose.

Curran wanted to go home anyways, he wasn't staying. Not sure why people are saying we should have kept him

Not saying we should have kept him.

But the transaction has been a failure. We've moved Niukore for it too. Curran with one year left would have seen it out if we wanted him too.

Would love to see Niukore back on the right when he comes back. Won't happen though.

I can't agree with that.

It could not be foreseen that Capewell would have got this many injuries, all of them unrelated. That's just bad luck.

Last week was a throat injury.

He seems to be made of glass, he's had injuries to just about every body part in his extremely limited time with us. Turning out to be a dud pickup.
Thanks. I knew he had a throat injury. But wasn't sure if it was the last one or not.

I was a fan of his while watching him at some of his other clubs. We have been linked to him a few times. As much as he looked good in the trials and it would be a promising pick up. It is looking like we may have picked him up too late.

I have nothing more to say. Just one more post to repeat what I said last week during the post match review. Seasons are about momentum. As a cricket player and a batsman whether you are in form or not determines the quality of the decisions you make. We lost this season and our momentum and our chance at a premiership by playing Taine at fullback in the first few games of the year ahead of Roger.
Roger is 7 or 8 million times better at Fullback that Taine is.

There will be plenty to enjoy this year though. Around round 14 or 15 when the season is mathematically over we will get to see Zyon Maiu’u and Ali get regular first grade time and we can use this year to set up next year.
Webster is a good coach and he is going to get us a premiership, this year is a learning curve year for him and his major development area is learning to make changes to the lineup after a loss. Not changing a winning team is a good idea. Keeping the faith after losses not as sound.

Voting F. for F**k
F our performance.
F the quality of the game and Newcastles general standard of play too. Most dower game I’ve see this year.
F the ref who failed to establish a decent standard in the ruck and had a few howlers.
We don’t seem to have any confidence in our ability to vary the game plan to suit the conditions and the qualities of the opposition.
Case in point - in torrential rain those two drop outs (of which the last one resulted in the winning try)should have been long drop outs. Territory is everything in these conditions and should have played to that.
Just watched a game where I have to say neither team will make the eight. And neither deserves to be there. Real shame - I had high hopes we could evolve our game IQ as the season progressed and we’ve gotten dumber.

Come on bro. Shauns stale same set plays inside the opposition 5 ia his fault. Execution is off. He isn't blameless.
That is the game plan. Shaun would get lambasted if he wasn't playing to the plan.
Cohesion isn't great and that can be attributed to Shaun sure, but playing to the plan is not his fault.

It is amazing how far we have fallen off a cliff.

A month ago a lot of the comments around the NRL media was how well we looked. Some of the plays we were doing around dummy half with Egan. The Manly game they looked like they had scouted that.

All around now we have fallen off big time.

The praise probably wasn't entirely justified as weren't playing a full 80 but I'd rather still be in that position where it looks easier to turn around.

Our defence hasn't been anywhere as resilient as last year at all.
