Some simple ideas

1. bomb to DWZ’s wing on the 5th and get him to compete for the ball maybe?

2. more mins from your bench so it’s 17v17 not 13v17 - especially if your strategy is to wear down opponents

3. Take hit ups and make contact on your side , twisting with the goal of an offloading - I want more offloads

4. RTS on the wing

5. Bunty to start - Barnett to ignite off the bench

6.Laban and Zyon Maiu’u getting 40mins each in replace of Ford/Capewell

7. Tohu max 60mins

Simple.
Why zyon he played crap in nsw cup

CNK ball hogging on the last play several times. Fuck sakes. You & Addin were our last in form players. Now addin stands alone lol.
Edit - Forgot Barney! Addin & Barney are all we have.
At least we've got that, not much to look forward to, our D was non existent, not much more to say, except keep on going, don't give up - all good!!!

Need to take a closer look at Berry

5 missed tackles tonight

Garbage the last few weeks and Offers absolutely nothing on attack.

Time to bring back Ali & Pompey

RTS to the wing.
Where was ali today as wasn't in cup team. Number 3 center played well

Stop!, breathe in, hold it, and now slowly release, clear your mind, think happy thoughts. sorry about this but I have to say this, we just don't have the cattle in our team to be competitive in this comp for 2024, we are just not good enough, remember it's just a game, so shake it off and look forward until we get better players, the world isn't destroyed, our team is still our beloved, we will never leave her for someone else, we will never betray her, she is our first love. xoxox!!!

Did notice this game we went left more. I also think Ford right good call. He not dropping good ball passes.
It would be nice if our game plan had going left being driven by our left side half and with the full back being allowed to play on that side of the field too though!!

I (like some others) did find it weird Ford wasn't moved to the right side in preseason... His game is simple and similar to Niukore, just less aggressive/impactful. That would have allowed Capewell / Laban to play left side, and would have tied that side together better on D. Webby will be kicking himself that he didn't have Laban to bring on for Capewell's injury, I'd say.

That was ugly.

I reckon the main problem is the NRL has moved on but we haven't.

Everyone knows our standard game plan and that seems to be all we have. Although we've got some old tired cattle, there's still a tonne of experience there to be able to adapt to the requirements of what's happening on the field. But it ain't happening.

That's on the coach and the senior players. Losses aside, the worst thing I've seen over the last few weeks was the dumb arse captains challenge with a few seconds to go before half time. That just summed up our whole season and where our senior leaders aren't.

The quote thrown around on here a few times that a plan is all well and good until you get punched in the face is apt

We're getting punched a lot
