In the nsw cup game Taine played 6 in attack kicked the ball organised etc.
I m a Tmm fan but the man is doing nothing.
This game I watched Tohu gee he is slow getting back etc just as Frank White has been saying.
We as others have said need some youth and enthusiasm
And a new game plan attack particuarly.
Fox interviewed Taine after the game he isn’t injured.
Need some personnel changes three or so and a different attack ball.
Can they go to jungle ball in the last ten if we are behind?
Get Sione Faumuina and Clinton Toopi in to explain.
If he’s playing 6 in attack, that’s coming from Webby & his team, not from NSW Cup level. Obviously they’re trying something as TMM isn’t working

Need to take a closer look at Berry

5 missed tackles tonight

Garbage the last few weeks and Offers absolutely nothing on attack.

Time to bring back Ali & Pompey

RTS to the wing.
Berry is a poor defender who somehow always ends up with incredibly high tackle efficiency numbers. I don't know why. Some weird dynamic there.

In other news I was one of the two people that gave it a B. I am deeply dissapointed we lost like the rest of you. And like the rest of you I pulled no punches and I have made a few posts giving all concerned shit. However as far as warriors games go if you gave that an F then just like the band Guess Who sang "You ain't seen nothing yet".
This season can get a whole lot worse than that performance. I have seen a lot of warriors losses in my 6 year tenure as a warriors fan. This wasn't all that bad
a) The ref gave them a leg up for their first try based on some phantom piggy back penalties the ref imagined.
b) I thought our goal line defence was the best showing we have put out in 2024.
c) The game was close and not a thrashing.
d) Even though we lost I found it entertaining to watch.

All this doesn't say I think we played well at all. I am just saying I have seen much much much worse. I thought we were better tonight than we put up against St George. The St George match I gave an C or F I can't remember. And of course if you want pain - trying losing by more than 50 points to the Storm. So this season could get really really ugly in a big hurry starting next week against much better teams and Webster needs to make some line up changes now. Not in two more losses time when it is 6 games without a win. We should have made changes after St George like said then. You could see then some players were liabilities. EG Ben Hunt outmuscling a feeble tackle from TMM and getting his arms free and scoring a soft as fuck try. Berry getting stepped and scorched to let in a try in that St George try. That was all i needed to see. I didn't need to see it repeated, as it has been in the next two matches as well.

I don’t know why but I really liked this post Wrighty Wrighty 👏🏻

It gives me

1. Hope
2. Perspective

It’s not like we got blown away and called it a day like so many in the past

We didn’t play bad. Just not good enough to win. I would take this team in a heartbeat over some of the garbage teams and performances I have seen in the past… this is a learning curve for Webby. This adversity will serve him well in the future

I genuinely think the team are trying, just nothing seems to be working. Bit different to teams of the past that didn't look as if they were trying

Teams have figured out the Warriors.

What did they actually practice this week?
Yes we have been successful figured out.

I can only assume that we practised robotically sticking to a game plan.

We appear to have had our flair coached out of us like last year when we had offloads limited in favour of set completions.

I hope that it is going to pay dividends eventually because it's punishing at the moment. Prove me wrong Webby

Positional or personnel (or both)? Let's have a constructive discussion.

He is playing on one leg.

Some simple ideas

1. bomb to DWZ’s wing on the 5th and get him to compete for the ball maybe?

2. more mins from your bench so it’s 17v17 not 13v17 - especially if your strategy is to wear down opponents

3. Take hit ups and make contact on your side , twisting with the goal of an offloading - I want more offloads

4. RTS on the wing

5. Bunty to start - Barnett to ignite off the bench

6.Laban and Zyon Maiu’u getting 40mins each in replace of Ford/Capewell

7. Tohu max 60mins

Simple.
