It feels unfair to give Boyd so few games with a ever changing front row and then boot him. I really hope some in the media question webby on it. I dunno, maybe there is a clear reason for it? But it feels short sighted with TMM not resigned for next year and Metcalf out till at least round 2... I just don't get it. If he is number 6 maybe it indicates he could be the 6 to a Metcalf 7 next year.

I think with both the attack and defence struggling on that side of the field that he paid the price. They obviously moved Pompey over there to try and help out but something hasn’t clicked

I'm liking this - and nothing to do with being anti-boyd, except maybe on his defensive capabilities - TMM and CHT much stronger in that respect - means we can carry Marata on an edge, as TMM's coverage there is far better than Boyd's

Defended between Pompey & Halasima last week, Capewell & Niukore for the 2 weeks before and a combo of Berry/TMM/Pompey-Niukore vs the Tigers. Two different halves partners, 2 different hookers and 2 different Fullbacks across a 4 game block.

Yeah Chanel's kicking game is going to have to be on point as he'll be doing most of it.....and thats a worry in itself.

Bulldogs have the fastest line speed on D in the comp. Hope it doesnt take us too long to figure out to spread the ball on early tackles.......we go one out against this mob they'll just gang tackle us into oblivion.

True but we had the benefit of AFB & Barnett to truck it up into good field position and DWZ was contributing about 40m more per game as well
