Politics šŸ¤” Donald Trump

This argument goes roughly in 2 camps, first that Putin launched and unprovoked invasion in 2022. The second is that the conflict started in 2014 with a US backed coup that resulted in an anti Russian Government with neo nazi ties.
The second is a conspiracy theory. Putin sows disinformation, he thrives on it. The second is bullshit.

So would you be in favour of the decisions of the leader being prosecutable in NZ? So one example of how that might work is Jacinda made decisions during covid that lead to deaths, so she would be prosecuted for those deaths if proven; sure she made decisions that saved lives too but if you apply that law to the full extent that's irrelevant.
So essentially every leader would go to jail.

There needs to be a limit where you can't abuse human rights but in America if you let everyone who gets impacted by govt policy prosecute or sue what do you think the impact would be?
We're talking Trump here - who has openly threatened to lock up those who are on his hit list, amongst many other deplorable acts. And the legislation change coincided with the prosecutions still being assme - that's a great word - assembled even around his attempted coup.

We're not talking about suing. We're talking about exonerating a grifting criminal dictator called Donald Trump.
