Pretty much. But there are policies and actions that last government did that benefitted society even though there was a revolt at the end.

I can only think of finding cuts to many departments, job cuts, major tax breaks for the already wealthy.

They show some misdirection by giving $50 to a small amount of people and call it a day.
Every election will have some Baubles for the punters. Just depends how big. Who will forget Helen in 2005.

I don't know if NZ is ready to vote for a youngish Chinese nzer.
That would be a shame. I know her family. She was born here and educated here. A kiwi with one Chinese parent.

Unlike all those other grifters in Wellington, she’s actually the only professional candidate, found after an executive search

Not just another career public purse bureaucrat

Hoping she gets some decent airtime!

I voted Teal last time but I've hardly seen much from them this time. Just a couple of interviews a while back. I do like her though. Her thoughts on Winnie, luxon and seyless was great.

Those on the right here, can you enlighten me on what this coalition has done to make NZ a better place to be?
Real world issues like eduction has improved 1000% (measurable as well). Hospitals are out of the media and anecdotally are catching up after falling apart at the scenes. Law and order is visibly better with the stats to back it up. Roads aren’t falling apart with 3rd world potholes everywhere anymore.

Education, health, law and order and transport are core govt stuff I think.

But im sure some will vote for feel good stuff like, what was it, ending child poverty, fixing mental health, fixing housing with a million more state houses or possibly banning oils and gas exploration (while we run out of oil and gas).

I am left leaning but I have voted for Greens, Labour, TOP and National before.

What you have stated would be music to left leaning voters. Less crime, better education, better transport and health. However, why are nationals rating down so much. It can only be down because right leaning voters are also against them.

What you have stated are all anecdotal from your perspective. If you could provide me with some websites or at least stats from the above that would be appreciated. Here are my anecdotes, I am in education, and I have only seen an upheaval in high school education, a waste of professional development resources on structured literacy. Health, there are still huge waiting lines, nurses that were promised jobs that don't have any because of health funding cuts, ram raids have turned into people stealing petrol, and I've seen potholes in some main big streets.
