In the BBC heads roll over the same thing with Trump. Labour Party staffer - nothing to see here.
Think you’ll find that happens across parties every election. The difference here is one’s a news source and the other political parties opposing each other. Could only read the first few lines with a majority behind a paywall but does certainly seem nothing to see here

Media will go to town on this now they have a sniff. Think Luxon has the wrong approach reading him saying his job as pm is to act as a ceo for the country. Leadership is lot more with the country wanting a figure to provide optimism and all the grandstanding about his accomplishments as a ceo formerly have shown he’s way out of his depth in the political world. His days are numbered, and will be quickly if he’s as naive as this reads in the cut throat world of politics. Bishop has had a shot as far as speculation goes, I’m not seeing anyone else could pose an issue too? Willis’ performance as minister of finance won’t be a great endorsement for her
I don't even know why he bothers answering the questions

Yesterday's Vance post has already been removed by Stuff. I read through her original post and it didn't have anything of substance. Just her reporting hearing rumours of a coup, and proceeding to colour in the blanks. The only verifiable facts in her post was that a National event was held, where it was held, who spoke and who attended. The coup references didn't have any direct quotes and the writer herself talked about them as being rumours

He's got more important things to do than to even respond to a rumour

In fact, what he should be doing is putting reporters in their place, like Key, Cindy, Peters and even Waititi would do. Grow a couple of balls and don't try too hard to be likeable. I think that's his weakness

The very article mentions an example of National doing the same thing...

These are things that go on behind closed doors when members are trying to roll a leader so not exactly things that are played out publicly and his poor leadership is always going to have him vulnerable to this speculation

The article is still up.

The writer and the publisher wouldn't have posted it if there wasn't something going on (in all reality it's probably being leaked to the media from the challengers staff).

Maybe if Luxon could resonate with voters instead of coming across out of touch with regular voters or if the government would stop the big talk and fix issues it wouldn't be a story. With polling that low theres always going to be that sort of chatter.

But yeah, agreed with your points

We’re renewing a consent for a septic system under Auckland council.

As part of the process 17 local Mana whenua have to be contacted to see if they have an interest and would like to submit a cultural report at our expense.

This is an existing septic system, running for over 15 years creating domestic type effluent all handled on site, that just needs a periodic reconsenting.

Disband this whole legalised extortion please National.

It was wearing thin more than a couple of months ago to people such as this that I have a lot of time for his view and think he hits the mark with in the article. There’s been toing and froing whether labour are Adrian Orr wears the blame and the longer there’s no thought of their own performance playing apart, the longer I think voters will decide that this isn’t working and not the direction that’s good for the whole country

An interesting graph of NZ's debt to GDP ratio over time.

Can anyone else see a trend here?

Inruin will simply laugh as he is a clown who thinks facts and historical data are funny.

Wiz will just use some micro anecdotal bullshit that once happened to him.

The other right wingers will say "yeah, but..."

Idiots.

So this government has also screwed up the water reforms.

And yep, look out for the privatisations.

It was always going to costs more, which is why a centralised model was a good idea.

Unfortunately, the voting public were yet again duped by Russian trolls on Facebook and their global destabilisation agenda. Stupid people should not vote.

Don’t see much of a trend really.

Went consistently down after Ruth Richardson until the GFC hit. We were recovered from that and then Covid hit. Due to go back down in coming years.

The bigger question is what the Greens mass borrowing will do to the graph? And then will we have headway for the next economic shock?

Then they'll be flabbergasted and nearly cry when people call them out for being fwits..
At least they have each other to like their posts.

Can you explain how the costs will differ for Labour vs Nationals proposals? This will inform the debate and give context to your conclusions.

(Noting Nationals will end up with several large CCO’s similar to Labour proposal)

Surely the infrastructure per household will need to be the same to supply water regardless of who owns it and how it’s structured?
