True. We haven't had a decent Royal Commission since the Air NZ Antarctic crash. Mahon was right but got shafted by Muldoon. Nothing much has changed since then in Politics

TBF, Chloe cocked up the debate and then dug a hole. All she had to do was back down, apologise and Gaza would have still been the major focus. Now however, as usual with all the media and blogs, Chloe is grabbing the headlines, getting the boot out of parliament, not the Shitstorm happening in Gaza.
She's a bear with little brain, how come she didn't go onto the front lines with Auntie Helen and get an insiders view of what's going on with the aid? As I posted earlier at least Marama had the gall to make an effort to be on the ground as well.

In a weird twist of fate for a righty, Venn threw in a private members bill to legalise homosexual acts between consenting adults (forget about the lesbians says her who must be obeyed)

It's amazing how entrenched in your little bubble, echo chamber you are. Your leftist views are supported by around 10% of the last vote and of them I would think the majority wouldn't understand the implications of them if they were actually implemented. I'm glad that your charade is over and your true colours have finally been admitted to, and that the majority of people fall in to the 70% - 80% Labour, NZFirst, National predominantly center that the country has always been and hopefully always remains as. I view the Greens even more dangerous than ACT and that's saying something. Luckily they only get about 10% each and they are at the opposite extreme ends of the spectrum to balance the nuttiness out.

I see zero point in trying to have an actual discussion with you, for a number of reasons including, but not limited to, the almost propagandist spam posting, so shall return to my previous stance of not engaging with you.

I just see no point in engaging with someone who is so blindly extreme left and unwilling to have a rational discussion. I mean I thought you were quite bad but he takes it to a whole other level. At least you at times had the ability to concede points.

Genuinely, it's not healthy IMO same as any far right person posting in the same way. The continued behavior certainly comes across in a fanatical, blinded way. Hey, maybe he is ok but you have to be concerned at not being able to accept some things this government do is right and that some things the opposition parties do is wrong.

Massive groundswell here in Australia as there is a national anti-immigration march planned for 31 Aug. Leftwing commentators trying to shut it down as a march for the racists. Looks like that tactic is wearing thin however.

I wonder if NZ's center right govt will defuse this sentiment in NZ or if it will follow suit in a few months / next year.
