And the irony is reducing compliance costs that ramp up prices mainly benefits the poor and middle income. All those costs get passed on.
ACt is standing up for the poor and middle income - there is no benefit to the wealthy here.
All the lefties are happy with the status quo of excessive cost, unaffordable housing and child poverty. Keep as many people as possible poor and then be the party for the poor???
Requiring all laws to assess the positives AND negatives is just really basic stuff to ensure we don’t do dumb costly stuff. I don’t understand the issue. Go ACT!

There is a new online doctors service about to undercut doctors getting funded heaps more:
'Distorting the market': Virtual GP service could cut patient fees, sparks sector backlash
The 24/7 service is expected to launch next month, with five providers confirmed so far.

Nurse run clinics are coming out now after the nurses were allowed to do the lower level doctors stuff and do basic prescriptions.
Can see lots more variety in the future.
My Cardiologist up at Base hospital is a nurse practitioner, can do prescriptions and referrals.

Nurses know a lot more about the day to day practical stuff than the doctors half the time.
Leave the complex stuff for the doctors instead of them being bogged down by 20 kids with snotty noses a day.
I always wonder why nurses cannot take bloods for testings while we are at the surgery rather than then having to go to a Pathlab facility.
