I’ve seen all sorts of rubbish on all sides. Eg Your just blind to the stuff Seymour has received and the increased security he needs; why Luxon avoids Waitangi; look at what Trump gets - trying to assassinate the guy.
Comes with the territory. Any politician that makes life altering decisions (their job) will get upset people taking it personally.
All this ‘but she’s a girl’ just sounds chauvinistic.
This government are utterly inept in all ways apart from destruction and extraction of wealth.

Considering they are amongst the worst of the youth offenders its not surprising that there is reoffending. How many haven't reoffended from this first cohort? How many were reoffending before this program? How many other youth have had second thoughts about getting involved in youth crime like ram raids since this was announced, considering these have reduced significantly? What was being done that shouted success previously?

Be interesting to see what the rate of reoffending is in five years from those in the boat camps to those in the rest of the NZ youth justice system which is at 75%.

My reading on it.... IF they stop some kids from reoffending at a higher rate than the rest of the kids in the system, yes, it was successful.... but, we need a far greater range than just the first lot to see how it pans out. Ideally, we need it to run for five years for a proper comparison.

Jacinda personalised the covid response and it resulted in record positive rating for a PM and the first ever sole party MMP victory.
When the covid response faltered the personalisation of the response backfired on her personally.
If anyone can’t see the hatred of her from some was directly because of the covid decisions then explain the record positive polling in 2020?
Her leadership style was the most personalised ever - we still call her the informal Jacinda rather than the formal Luxon or Seymour.
It’s sort of ironic you have a revolutionary personalised leadership style and then complain when people take things personally against you. There’s a reason in business, management, leadership, etc that you don’t personalise decision… this is it.
And then claiming it’s misogynistic is a woke excuse for leading too personally.
