Another health boss steps down
You just wish that those in government (from all sides) would just stop restructuring all the time and instead have the health money go where it should.... to the patients and illness/injury prevention. Just stop kicking the health of NZer's about like it's some football.

You have to wonder how many lives could have been saved, surgeries performed, cancer testing, waiting lists reduced, doctors/nurses/specialists employed with the money spend getting rid of the DHB's only for the next lot to bring them back.

Under the current leaders the whole place is a shambles. Not just financial but wait lists, etc.

If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem…

We need people in there that can get the place back on track performing for kiwis in need, which it’s currently not doing.
One of our neighbours used to be in charge of Women's Health in one of Auckland's public hospitals. She and two others ran the department. Then she retired.

Along with the two remaining staff, they employed four others to do her role. And for 18 months, kept phoning her to ask questions on how to run the department.

Could it be with increasing specialisation, people with business papers get promoted into leadership roles way too soon rather than the experienced people with decades of experience naturally rising to the top?

The post conviction right wing hit job continues
Nobody but a few fringe people cares until you post it and bought it to everyone’s attention 🤣

And the whole article is trying to defend her and focus on the invasion of her privacy - sorry, you did the crime. She has a history now and whenever she’s in a shop the system will be watching her extra carefully. Don’t like it? Don’t steal.

Even though she wasn’t convicted she had stuff in her bag and pretty much admits it. She shows her bad self centered attitude towards the victims of shoplifting and tries to divert attention away from herself saying: ‘Somewhat a bigger scandal for police, Foodstuffs and Auror than any of us having items in our totes in our trollies.’

Wrong attitude you self centered thief. I hope this system keeps watching her like a hawk!

What's your thoughts on a deliberate breach of a system used for mass surveillance without permission that is supposed to be secure, that the police amazingly have unlimited access to without permission of those surveillance? And then continually leaked? Especially when the person has owned up, been prosecuted and now persecuted?

Leaks happen everywhere with high profile people don’t they? Especially when there’s a public interest like an ex MP stealing.

No, it shouldn’t happen but who’s to say who released it? It could have been the individual that stopped her?

It could have been the manager of the supermarket (the victim here) pissed off at everyone stealing from them.

Strong history of NZ intelligence agencies targeting left wing politicians
