Was a pretty good tv series in the 80s, the Power of Myth, think it's still up on YouTube. One of those programs that makes you think you've briefly grasped the immensity of the universe, like Steve Hawking's book. (Before he was on epstein island though).

I think there's a difference between fictional characters in cultures and fictional characters in fantasy books if we go back to where this started with Snow White, Harry Potter, the Little Mermaid & Annie.

Whether it's Arnie or the Rock playing Hercules doesn't bother me.

& when we get a black James Bond it won't bother me
