Yeah, what's next? Privatised hospitals and services, health insurance or no access etc etcHere's some corruption and manufacturing of a health crisis
Minister Shane Reti defends claim of five-day financial failure at Health NZ
Health NZ's board went from "receiving the level of reporting it needed", to its financial situation being "suddenly quite different" in just five days, the health minister says.www.rnz.co.nz
Well said Juno. And yes, privatisation, asset stripping and selling off the country is what's next. This is one of the most far right ideological government's we've had. Not to mention racist, with the aim of stripping indigenous rights to open up mining and get corporations access to untouched land and resources.Yeah, what's next? Privatised hospitals and services, health insurance or no access etc etc
Unique nz mores (socialism NOT communism) have been access to low cost health, education, housing & social support. All about to go out the window for the money-hungry, care less corps.
It wasn't perfect but it didn't punish the poor or the middle class. But hey, these days they're expendable.
Wealth & profit rules. Especially if you don't have to share it around.
Call me oldfashioned but money alone doesn't make you happy - luxuries are a fleeting pastime, your kids will still despise you lol & IF we must have governments and politicians, their no.1 role should be looking after ALL the people, the majority of whom are way more than the rich bu**ers who think they know more than anyone else - why? Money, money, money...
Nah, the guy is a prat but he's not alone. Seems as soon as anyone walks through the doors of parliament house the prat gene explodes. You must be on the special sauce to side with Andrew Bayly.
The head comes off and the pumpkin goes on.Nah, the guy is a prat but he's not alone. Seems as soon as anyone walks through the doors of parliament house the prat gene explodes.
Especially on the 31stThe head comes off and the pumpkin goes on.
What has changed for you in this regard?Unique nz mores (socialism NOT communism) have been access to low cost health, education, housing & social support. All about to go out the window for the money-hungry, care less corps.
What is right and far right? What is left? Far left? You kept asking those questions previously when anyone dared use those terms and now you are throwing them out every second or third postWell said Juno. And yes, privatisation, asset stripping and selling off the country is what's next. This is one of the most far right ideological government's we've had. Well Inruin, in old money Labour is centre right, National is Right and Act is far right. Nz First are probably centre right with a dose of loonyism. As I've mentioned many, many, many times the terms of debate are so twisted now that Labour is considered left. What is right and far right? What is left? Far left? You kept asking those questions previously when anyone dared use those terms and now you are throwing them out every second or third post
And you are apparently wanting a country more left of the greens?Well Inruin, in old money Labour is centre right, National is Right and Act is far right. Nz First are probably centre right with a dose of loonyism. As I've mentioned many, many, many times the terms of debate are so twisted now that Labour is considered left.
Truly, the only real left, whatever that is, is probably the greens.
All in my opinion.
Labour are neolib light. National are neoliberal, Act are hardcore neoliberal, fascist neolib shall we say.
So when I say of the rich, by the rich, for the rich, generally, that's in right and far right territory. Generally.
The billionaires look after their own.
I ask in other people's reference, mind you I haven't for a while, only because of the fact that the terms of reference are generally so twisted, that Labour are considered left. They're not. Just more left on the right.
Only you lot think that, I have never said that. It's assumptions on a fair swag of the usual suspects. Most of the time a certain group speak for me like I've said something is fact, and lo and behold 10 minutes later it becomes "fact".And you are apparently wanting a country more left of the greens?
Nothing yet I'm lying. What has changed for you in this regard?
Perhaps because everytime you have been asked any question about it you avoid answering. And I would never take anything you say as fact.Only you lot think that, I have never said that. It's assumptions on a fair swag of the usual suspects. Most of the time a certain group speak for me like I've said something is fact, and lo and behold 10 minutes later it becomes "fact".
And, sigh, before anyone asks, anything with more humanity and less greed driven that what we have right now is preferable. And you are apparently wanting a country more left of the greens?
I don't avoid answering. I just can't be fucked repeating myself for those who can't be fucked thinking past their own biasesPerhaps because everytime you have been asked any question about it you avoid answering. And I would never take anything you say as fact.
I appreciate your viewpoint. For me nearly everything was worse under the last government so it's kind of weird to me that people are crying about everything now. They, 'the left' are ineffective in opposition now because they were completely incompetent in government then. Same with this for the rich rhetoric when the poor were demonstrably getting hammered over the last several years.Nothing yet I'm lying.
Could rant for ages but its right there to see. Another time maybe
What you see happening depends on your own whakaaro and a bit of prescience to see the effects and end results coming.
Unfortunately, when govt is run entirely by people that believe everything is a business the writing is on the wall.
Yes, there's a business aspect to governing responsibly but purely erring on the side of business ideology minimises the social side of good governance. Where does that leave the majority of us?
You haven't answered at all though let alone repeat yourself Plenty have asked you what your utopia looks like. You have been asked to just provide an example of a successful country that has something similar to what you think. I've even asked you if you were in charge back in Oct 2023 what you would have done to get things back under control.I don't avoid answering. I just can't be fucked repeating myself for those who can't be fucked thinking past their own biases
