Hope they’re all safe, must be an eerie feeling knowing they shared the lift with those that inflicted that. Feeling fortunate too that they didn’t stab them also. The crime seems to have ramped up in the last few months to very violent. Lots of attempted abductions and abductions
Just speculation but the victim and stabbers are in school together and they were the only target… luckily for the person in the lift!

Is this a short term flow on from covid - stress, pressure within families, financial issues, inflation, etc?

Or is this a long term societal change that’s slowly been happening over time? Lowering of morals, standards, respect for each other?

Is the trend the same in all countries post covid?

Being safe is the first thing you need to build a healthy society off (Maslow)

UK had a stabbing epidemic pre-covid, I think we're just following general trends a few years later.

the world certainly is a shit show right now.
some blokes here will argue it was rosy as fuck till october last year though.

i hope you and yours are doing okay after yesterday man. we see it on the news all the time but must’ve been gnarly being there when something like yesterday was going down.
