Nowhere do I say he turned it around, nor do I care. He's corrupt and a grifter, fitting in perfectly with this government.
I've got no doubt all sides are taking donations and favours all over the place. Some are worse than others, and some definitely benefit the wealthy few - mining, gambling, fossil fuels, weapons, the automotive industry etc.
The racing industry is effectively gambling, which is another wealth extraction industry and punishes those less off.
