I often play running on empty when driving a long trip. Every song is a good listen
Same brother, one of my driving soundtracks for years too. His earlier albums not so much though, there's always the danger of falling asleep at the wheel, and in the case of Late For The Sky, giving up and driving off a cliff.

Since everyone is concentrating on the US election.

I know the Chilli Peppers sung (Californication) about them spreading their way of life everywhere. But you have to admit some American things like Coca Coloa, movies, music are wunderbar.

We are all falling for operation mickey mouse.

For those of you thinking there will be riots. You'll be safe in new york city. AC/DC don't lie.

This is one of those songs that were unfortunately getting air play before 9/11. Then not so much. Like System of a Downs' Chop Suey where some people looked to closely at the lines "self righteous suicide and angels deserve to die"

Yeah wasn't Toxicity released the same week as 9/11? A lot of their songs on the first album were also very intense in their war messages (see the song War? "we will fight the heathens"), not surprising the radio stations got a bit scared in that time!

And don't forget Shihad having to change their name just as they were about to embark on cracking into the US market, that's some bad timing! Though the story about Jon Toogood being left alone on stage in NYC and nervously cracking a joke basically calling cops c*nts in the wake of 9/11 didn't help either 😅
