I've never been to Seddon, but from that it looks like a good viewing ground.

This is England. They might lose an early wicket in the first 7-8 overs, but if they have 50 on the board then it is hardly the end of the world.
Nice ground. Field is like carpet. This is what they should do at Colin Madenpark in Auckland

Inevitable. England Cricket have given him every chance to make a fist of it. Surely Crawley is done.

That tennis ball bounce will continue to create wickets

I mentioned it last week, but it is so sad to look forward to the end of a player's career who has given so many fantastic memories to NZ cricket fans, and been a cornerstone of our most successful ever period. Southee is a true legend. This is painful to watch a great go out in a long drawn-out whimper.

O'Rourke Henry Smith and Foulkes would be a good quartet I think
Except you know that they will bring 31 year old Jacob Duffy in for the July tests. With a domestic average of 33, he will be favoured because he is more Southee like, and has been around the team for long enough to be next cab. Duffy also has a central contract. Anything else would be very unpredictable from these selectors.

Also depends on the state of Sears meniscus injury as well. He was going to feature in the India test squad ahead of Duffy.

I'm sorry, but how do you drop the guy that has taken more wickets and scored more runs but keep Southee in? And I'm picking Santner will largely be ineffective in this test.
76 and 3 for.. Commentators curse
