Assignment this week is simple: stop Haas. If we contain him like we did with AFB, we go a long way to winning the middle. He plays smaller minutes than AFB but his offloads are the basis of anything that Mam/Walsh/Reynolds create. You shut them down and Broncos attack is neutered. Sharks lost that game more than the Broncos won it.

The boys probably bounce back against more hyped up oppositions, some serious psychological issues against baby teams with gun systems ie broncos 23 and now panthers 25

Main thing with Pompey is that he keeps a majority he comes up against quiet, no matter how classy they are. Great versatility to be able to go to the wing when needed or play either sides too. Not outside the realm of possibility that Capewell’s old club know of some deficiencies but could be worth putting Halasima against him again after he had success last time

Looks like Mets will play since it is just a cork. Hopefully the casualty ward is right and Berry is back this week. So looks like we'll be able to field a decent side next week. Would be even better if Marata isn't out. Though I suspect a broken nose will keep him out until after the bye.

Two unpopular opinions.
JFH needs the abiliitu / motor to step up to a 60 minute role if we suffer an injury in the middle during a game. He is not the explosive prop so 50 minute games can only be afforded when we have a full bench.

Leka has slipped on his 1%ers , this may be due to the compounding big minute games. I would bring him off the bench for a couple of weeks.

Regarding the other wing spot, the big thing is taines height compared to ed. But Karapani only listed at 1.83m i think so not much difference there.

Berry should be back. The way Kosi is playing he may get DWZ spot ahead of TT. Be interesting to see whether he goes back to Bunty for Niukore since he doesn’t like starting Ford.

Could be why Boyd was willing to take the line on in nsw cup knowing Metcalf is carrying a niggle. He got a nice try breaking straight through the line of two defenders

He brings experience as a number 7 and better goal kicker as well. His ball distribution is also a plus.
