Team List Warriors v Broncos - [Round 7, 2025]

you are probably right, he ran with Taupau last week rather than Smoothy. In either case, I think my original pt stands: we need to make the most of the period when both Haas/Carrigan are off because Madge likes to sub them off at the same time. That's the period where the Roosters got them last week.

Lucky we have Demetric and Leka off the bench

Some interesting bits and pieces from Thursday’s media day interviews that are weirdly hard to find.
1. You cannot play a train-and-trial player in first grade until Round 10.
2. A few of the newer/younger guys aren't fit enough to make the squad yet.
(Both of the above points are in the context of Capes playing.)
3. TMM has been named in the 17, but Webby hasn’t confirmed if he’ll stay there. That final spot is “always open.”
4. The starting prop role is between Ford and Bunty — could change at any time.

1. Ah, that will be why MGT can't play. Did not know that.
3. Good to know.
4. Hope it's Bunty, Ford has been much better off the bench.

Yeah, just watched that - sounds likely TMM will drop off so would have to be a TSS debut - shame really, would like to see Te Marie in 1st grade

Or TMM goes fullback, TT to wing, Pompey to centre. Ali switches sides, capes back to second row. Bunty to start with a bench of TSS Demetric Leka and Ford. Given wet weather footie after the Weather bomb that hit us last night, this will be won and lost in the forwards and we need punch off the bench. Capewell to cover backs if needed.
