I’m teaching them to work where they are valued and not play the victim.

However my wife and one of my daughters have chosen ‘lower paid’ careers specifically because that are more family inclusive.

The whole pay equity debate fails because it reduced the value of work to simply money.

This is a fake claim because people choose to work at careers based on many other factors - flexibility, stress, physicality, responsibility, happiness, cleanliness, how rewarding, certainty of employment… and money.

Making a pay claim based on only one of many factors for why people choose where they work is why the whole case has no integrity and will be continuously mocked. Supply and demand sets wages.

People don’t have to work in these careers but CHOSE to knowing the pay rate. They chose it as an equal and equitable pay when factoring in all the conditions and employment factors. They knew all this when they take the job.

It’s simply a left personality politics play to divide us into voter groups and then favour them to win votes. And the lefts anti all woman push because the right won’t simply pay a group $13b more proves this.

I see another 3 year old toddler murdered up North. Our numbers on this are extremely high. And although they have someone arrested, he gets name suppression.
Still no arrests in the Baby Ru case either. I can't really understand how anyone could function in normal day to day life knowing you had done something like this. And more importantly if you were a witness. Some strange loyalties out there for sure.

The latest NZ Crime and Victims Survey shows the number of annual violent crime victims in the year to February was 157,000 - a 15% decrease from October 2023, and a 27% decrease from the peak in June 2024.

Seems keeping more people in prison, cracking down on gangs and more police on the street keeps us safer than ‘defund da police’.
