Plenty of evidence of a fascist authoritarian dictatorship on display.
It's the same powers in open authority right now that paved the ground with huge swathes of conspiracy and disinformation for decades.
Part of that is false equivalence.
Not sure how I feel about that? The Germans just want to lead Europe and are competing with France, double trouble. Merz has been begging for a fight with Russia and is ex Black Rock, so wants to secure land and mineral wealth contracts in his favour because no Nord Stream 1 & 2 has crippled Germany's manufacturing status and it's economy has been in a 2 year recession.
The US have run most of the war from Germany too and still are, Europe don't want the US to leave Europe because NATO will fall apart.
Also and along with Japan, I don't want those countries that were the belligerent forces of WW2 to ever have that sort of power again. Hell, Putin wasn't kidding about Nazis in Ukraine and look at the path this has gone down. It ain't right..
But if they do in fact sink a US ship and draw a line, good on Europe, that's how they're supposed to stick up for one another!!
We see similar although not as extreme patterns of lies and disinformation through the right wing groups in nz.

There’s footage of an agent following a woman into a port a loo too. 4 native Americans were missing yesterday in Minnesota unaccounted for that their community was trying to track down their whereabouts. 3 governors turned up to see the conditions of the place where people are being detained but were told the can’t enter at the last minute, some unpleasant reports of the conditions

It’s getting pretty hard to argue against what’s on display out of that country, I think this could be a defining moment. People can argue that lady killed a few days ago was an agitator with her wife and she fucked around and found out or her tyres were veering away from him when he sent the remaining 2 bullets into her head, but the most damning part I think is for him to call her a fucken bitch after the fact. America is pissed big time because there’s now an understanding from the left they are viewed as much the enemy as the black person this often would have been in the past and those of descent being rounded up. The growing amount of servicemen like Jesse Ventura now openly calling out what’s on display is growing and growing and there’s huge divides on the streets because they’re letting their standing of servicemen and women to that country to the public do the talking and they are clued up more than most maga folks. I’m not sure they can stand 2 more years of this at a minimum. The base used to say he just says things with all the threats, but he’s made good on Venezuela, talks about seizing other places and considering strikes on Iran should concern all. Saudi Arabia has backed Iran and factions are falling together

It's going to get a lot worse before there's some kind of reckoning unfortunately - the assholes, bullies are in charge, and don't think it can't happen here. The same fundamental backers in the states have ties to thinktanks that fund and back the same right wing policies here. ACT would be the closest we have to a realisation of this.
