I feel like the same players complaining about DWZ were also complaining about Ford and Capewell at the beginning of the year. And we're probably ragging on LM after 3 games, and complaining Clark will never fill Tohu's boots.

Good thing youse didn't get what youse wanted or half the team would have been out at some point, which almost certainly would have impacted our 8-2 season.

the chatter seems to suggest not. Robson/Watson is probably where they will go. I think the bigger question for us is if Capewah gets selected for the Morons. Before probably not but after Gilbert's injury, I think his chances definitely increased. Still think it is unlikely as there is still Nenai who is in good form who is probably the one they tap for the bench back row spot.

I would be surprised if Capewell isn’t selected for his overall contribution, even if it’s a bench spot

Yeah I was in the TMM, and the youth brigade camp. Webby found playing time for all of them so I still got what I wanted

I guess It’s only his second game back so expect DWZ to get his mojo back after a few more rodeos under his belt.

The two weakened forward packs essentially cancel each other out imo. As others have said, we've got to wrap up the ball and stop the offloads which we never did in Vegas. If we get an even share of possession, I think we can pip them in another tight one. Despite their lofty position in the 4, they've exhibited several defensive deficiencies throughout this year that we can easily exploit.

I'm sure webby is already studying the second half tape of the canberra/dogs game a couple weeks ago when the dogs put 32 on them in a single half. Crighton had a field day down the edge where Kris/Tamale defend which has been problematic all year for them. Herbie and Isaako also ripped that edge apart couple weeks before when the Dolphins also put 30 on them in one half.

Also if it's a cold and wet game, then CHT has to terrorize weeks with bombs: his kick defusal has single handedly lost canberra two games this year (Manly and Cowboys games).

I would have thought Jayden Sua and Reuben Cotter as the starting back row and Tino as the lock. So Nenai would be a bench impact player. I don't think they would pick Capewell over Nenai.
