We’d be mad not to exploit it. Was obvious in the Māori vs Indigenous game that he’s up for niggle and he’s going to be chirping in this one. Think they have us in the backs, but I think we have them in the forwards

If he wants to set the tone. Put one on Olakau'atu. Then one on every other player.
Manly are hot at the moment, we definitely are not. This game is big trouble for us. If we get within 16 we have done well and are improving. We still need to work out what game plan fits our cattle and are unsettled in key positions.
If the teams as fussed about Jazz as some of these posters it'll be long night. Much bigger concerns to worry about than a hooker who isn't much of a run threat.
Bigger concerns ? Like who?
Their better fullback?
Better halves?
Better Wings?
Better Forwards ?
Uhh last years player or this years player? Cos if it’s on 2025 form…
The platform is most important !!Head knock guy needs a better platform than last week as do the rest of the spine. Sigh

Sure, but he is part of that better platform. He’s wasn’t at his best for parts of last year and in game one he didn’t offer anything special.Head knock guy needs a better platform than last week as do the rest of the spine. Sigh

Just his tackle count really. I've been an advocate for shipping him out for his past twenty seven head knocks.Sure, but he is part of that better platform. He’s wasn’t at his best for parts of last year and in game one he didn’t offer anything special.
You can drink whatever cool aid you like. Enjoy. But does injecting Healey last week beat Canberra?it’s all the middles fault
Not buying this coolaid
Egan can’t do his job
Halves and backs can’t do their job
All because the middles can’t go forward
Nah. Not buying it.
Egans fast crisp passes to the halves. Zipping through holes, zero fucking kicking game, all contribute to our problems and has nothing to do with the middles. He doesn’t create opportunities. Slow reaction time slow legs and has zero presence on the field…
Unfortunately it may have been a few concussions late. Here's hoping we see improvements where necessary including his lack of what Beasty saidThe platform is most important !!
I watched Egan closely & he seems to have changed his D technique somewhat for the better.
Getting his melon behind the attacker is going to save him a lot of HIAs
With us having to play Walker off the bench it really limits the Healy / Egan possibilitiesI think people forget but egan played 80+ mins for half the games he played last year. It just seemed to depend on how quick of a turn around the games were and who was injuried. So it would not surprise if vs the roosters we see healey on if egan is punished in the middle or a middle goes down injuried.
Yeah i think thats a good point tbh. Last year it seems like we never had walker on the bench with his injuries and then coming back to tohu's injuries.
