General Warriors Preseason 2025

After this season, will we be back to the toughest preseason ever?

A few Warriors on international duty so will need a break. Will they get burned out next season or will AW rest them as needed through rotation of the squad?

Are there any updates on the injury front? Berry? TMM? Ford? Pompey? Harris?

This could be one of the more interesting preseasons or one of the most Meh ones depending on how it looks like the team is shaping up for round 1

Thoughts on CNK to wing? Would be safe under the high ball and would get through plenty of work. Only issue I think may be his pace but wouldn't be any slower than Montoya?

Berry must be fucked and I would not be surprised if he doesn't return to full contact training well after the season has started..

Bring in SJ, Bring in Halligan, Bring in DC10.

After each preseason session, put them onto the training field with Te Maire, Chanel and Luke.

Lock the gate, and have Fish and Barnett stand guard.

The lock doesn't come off until they kick ten conversions from each side and kick ten 40/20s consecutively.

Miss or have the ball go out on the full, and the tally restarts.

This is the way.

It looks like the upcoming season could be really exciting but also full of challenges.the team needs to manage player fatigue well especially after international duties. It's also important to keep an eye on the injured players progress ,as their return could be crucial for success

I think Metcalf said he is back on the 11th

Given he only has 4/5 NRL preseasons, and so few games under his belt I can't imagine he is getting an extra week off, so I'd guess that is the first day back for most of the team

That is one dude I'm excited about for 2025. As the squad stands, next year's success hinges on the progression and impact of Vaimauga (Sifakula), Metcalf and Halasima for me.

I'm also interested to see if Healey is a missing ingredient on our bench.

Biggest worry for me next season is I think AW is going to play JFH too long in matches. He got a longer stint in the Kiwis matches and basically had the same impact as he had with less mins but with more tackles. Webby really needs to get a good bench rotation going next season and rotate players a bit as well to keep everyone fresh.

Last seasons pre-season games were announced on Nov 10 and the draw was announced on Nov 13. Expecting some announcements in the next week
