Defend it? U see how many times he gets gassed on the outside because he jams and he’s way too slow to turn and chase.
I agree, but I would see any team that is a real contender needs to have the ability to strike from its own half. In a tight game relying solely on the other teams mistakes may mean we don't get enough opportunities in the 20. I still think we need a bit more pace. I would say Ali L ability to break the line is a big positive and Luke M's speed is great as well as the addition of Healey, but an upcoming winger/fullback who can scorch the earth would be nice. Imagine if we had the threat of a Hammer, it revolutionises the whole attack as people start sliding off of the halves etcWe might not score any long range tries with that backline but we can still outsmart them in the red zone if the spine is good enough. Brains and attitude beat raw speed most days.
I think Sio Kali could develop into a speed machine, if the club made him a winger of course. He should be sprint training along with other areas.I agree, but I would see any team that is a real contender needs to have the ability to strike from its own half. Saw that this morning, bout time they inserted the pictures with the players recruited by now too
It's alright, I saw a Fox article the other day that had CNK listed twice at centre and fullback, I know he's a workhorse but jeeze! Or maybe we're just cloning him?Official NRL's site prediction of the Warriors starting 17.... I don't know who that Corey Rosser reporter is but he's naming Roger at centre and CHT over TMM at number 6.... don't think he's been paying attention at all!

Act of Squad: Warriors predicted team and 2025 overview
After falling back to reality in 2024 the Warriors will seek a return to form as they begin life post-Shaun Johnson.www.nrl.com
It’s a great question.Question:
Do we think Healy has done enough to warrant a spot on the bench, or is the naming of him there more for cover for Egan specifically?
Surely with it being the first game of 2025, if we were wanting to run with an extra forward on the bench Rd 1 would be the most likely time Egan can get though a game with our needing a replacement?
If not, and Healy (or Lussick) is there on the bench, we probably need to realize that for the rest of Egan's time here at the Wahs - likely 5 or 6 more year - then we require a back up for him on the bench at all times. I'm not opposed to this necessarily, as the game is speeding up and a lot of teams carry 2 hookers, but it's something that I think I'm constantly disappointed with, seeing Lussick eat up a bench spot for likely less than 20 minutes is a bit killer
I honestly think AW needs to utilise the bench more and rotate players at times for gameday selection in order to manage them through the season. Why aren't we protecting players like Egan more and using a player like Healey to get gametime and experience in first grade as well as provide some attacking spark. Play Egan for 50mins and Healey for 30. Some games it might be Egan 30 and Healey 50 if we are going good.Question:
