Mitch to come on after 20 mins to raise the intensity, Bunty to start to keep things tight. Walker to do his thing after 30..and the kids to come on and cause mayhem. Haven't been a CHT fan but thought he looked the goods with Metcalf. TMM looked great at the back and CNK can fit in anywhere.

Needs to be a bit careful with his tackling technique I think. A few on the weekend looked like they were almost going to end in dangerous territory.

Wonder if TMM will end up as 18th man, or 6 to get last chance to control his edge, surely they are thinking him and Luke to rotate that 7 position given their history, maybe not a bad idea to keep him as 18th man to ensure one of the first choice halfbacks are fit

Should be playing 7 in cup IMO. If Luke gets injured or we are struggling to score points and AW needs to make changes after a few games then he is good to go.

I also don't know what to think with him playing fullback last game. It actually has a lot going for it. Provides that extra ball playing which we will need if LM and CHT are the halves. Provides great versatility for in game injuries. Certainly was a little left field from AW which I thought may have been out of necessity but it worked really well with the attacking shape that just maybe it could be a plan. The first Team list Tuesday will be very interesting.

As a stop-gap solution, I think Webby has to roll the dice with Taine out wide - at least against the Raiders who I don’t think have giant wingers (?) and initially I wonder if TMM at no 1 could be a bit of an R1 Smokey. I’m a big CNK fan at fullback, but that way he can slot into centre - pretty dynamic option who’s also sound defensively.
Would love to get Laban in there, but can’t see him unseating Niukore or Cape-wah … for now.

I honestly can't see how this switching over the 6 and 7 in attack can realistically work. You certainly didn't see that happening with the LM/CHT combo against the storm. The best option for injecting a ball player like TMM in to a system like they seem to be talking about is at fullback where he can pick the right areas to join in to. It was the first time we have really seen our fullback attacking both sides of the field and creating extra numbers.
