Gavet was not an elite prop by any means however he was hardly ever put on his back. He had the strength to go down face first and get to his feet quickly for a quick ptb

Hey why not give Ligi Sao some props.
Anyone fond of lillyman as prop? All I remember was thinking woah this guys going to take some stopping. But he always was stopped.

Very hard to pick ... the game and rules have changed so much, over the years...

Price and AFB for mine. Head and shoulders above the rest of the pack for starting positions especially if we are picking starting props for current era.

Agreed however I think Matulino in his best seasons is a clear 3rd. He carried us in 2012 - when he had a spell that year we couldn’t compete at all.

Never a huge fan of Price. I was told he always demanded to run back from the kickoffs , as it gave him easy yards for his stats.
I’ve gone Matulino , so good for us in the 2011 grand final run. That forward rotation was one of our best ever.

Price and AFB for me, their consistency puts them over Matulino and Vagana for me. If Barnett has a Steve Price like finish to his career he could replace one of them.

One is still a warrior and all the others are done. I'll wait until he's left or retired to reserve judgement. And I admire Addin as a prop for us.

Hard one to judge- depends if you’re looking for impact or longevity.
Sam rapira was my fav and played twice as many games as most of the other nominees- he’d be well suited to the modern game too.
In saying that I can’t go past price and afb.
Vagana and matulino off the bench.

Time will tell.
Currently afb has 4 seasons to jfh 1 but u could look at it as we only made the finals once when afb was here (a 25% strike rate) while jfh is 1 from 1 (100%).
Jfh also has a 53% win rate in warriors colors to afbs 41%.
So if jfh can he keep pushing us to the finals and keep that win rate he has a chance to overtake afb by the end of his career.

Price and AFB. Price was the ultimate metre eating prop and AFB at his best was destructive. Special mention to Sam Rapira and Paleaaesina. I still remember the 2008 rl world cup final when Rapira came off the bench and changed the momentum of the game. Got praise from the commentators too.
