Agree, had the workrate and toughness of the Luck, Mannering types, but with a bigger body and much better ball skills.

Shame his peak seasons coincided with the wretched Covid era.

This one is a tough one.
Kevin Campion changed our mentality from victims to bullys, our whole pack was feared under him and he led that.

Erin Clarke had a breakout year but it’s too soon to put him in that category, if he continues this form he’ll be in the conversation.

Luck was in the tacklebot era, defensively outstanding but not so much on the other side of the ball-was what that Team needed though.

Tohu possibly tarnished by his body letting him down and his silent leadership style wasn’t my favourite.

I’ll probably go with Campion who I felt helped spark our best ever team

Tohu's body of work by a landslide. Campion's 2 seasons were probably more influential though. In the same vein as Mateo, Sione Faumuina is worth a mention. Only 32 games in the position for the club but his 59% win rate is probably the best of the lot and even more impressive that most of those games were in teams that missed out on the playoffs

Harris for me. If we're attempting to make the best team. I have a feeling the team won't be short on mana/leadership so Harris wins out on pure skill.

Tohu by a landslide due to ability, statistics and longevity. Injuries really affected him at the end, but he was a great player for us.

I think Campion was epic for us in his role at that time.
That still flies now for mine.
I’d consider Tohu as a second row option.

Tbh i thought Webby was guilty of that towards the end there....it was clear at times he needed a break. Sort of flogged a dead horse at times i felt.

As for Tohu, at his best was the rare sort who could ball play before and at the line, while having the defensive fortitude to lock down the middle. Many thought 2023 was his best season here but i look back fondly on that 2018 year. Was part of that SJ, Tohu. Hiku edge which was the most lethal in the comp that year resulting in Fusitua top try scorer. Tohu's abiltiy to shift early or take it to the line resulted in a lot of space for his outsides.

Sio yeah Tohu for 13 but got mad respect for Campo who single handedly raised club standards

No one compares to Tohu.
Thankful we got some prime Tohu before his body told him time was up.
Didnt matter if he was in the middle,on an edge or ball playing.
Our man was sublime.
