Poor half really. Manly looked better despite missing more players than us. Both our tries handed to us from mistakes off kicks. I know it's first hit out but not a great deal to get excited about so far.

Difference is they didn’t play 50% plus of first graders on their games… name one Manly player who will be in their top 17. We didn’t win the preseason challenge either. The Broncos won it!

No freaking out here. Just frustration.
- Hayzen has showed promise. Hes not far off. Has great balance.
- Ali was solid without being flashy.
- Ford is in for a big year.
- Luke Hanson has met the assignment so far. He looks surprisingly strong.
- TSS strong. You can see he's hungry.
- Leka at center doesn't get him enough action. He's too good at wrecking Havok closer to the ball.
- Conditions not good for a player like Doyle. Unimpressed so far.

I don't think so. The first trial is about getting match fit and getting a hit out against a team that isn't your own.
Basic errors are a worry when it matters.
What’s worrying is we’re looking the same as we’ve been at our worst the last few years. Slow around the ruck, One out, No creativity, A lot of possession with nothing to show for it. It’s manly fist game as well and we’re loosing to their C team
Mellars definitely not ready. Pasikala, maybe.
6, fullback or centre would be my guess.
I'd also take him over Kosi. So I'd say we won that trade with Souths. He's having a bad day with the hands but so what. He's not the only one. That Manly winger marking him has made double the errors.

Harder to get up as a first grade team here, the whole mainly team would be thinking of playing first grade this year ours is just finish the game injury free.
Tbh losing by 50 here isnt a bother its just about ball in hand and minutes in legs

I'm keen on one of those, just need to sort out my size. Ended up getting the Captains Run T-shirt and the Training T-shirt today.
The captains one is quite nice. The blue one with the pattern similar to the pre-season jersey.
Also nearly got a hoodie and an away jersey. Likely would have if my wife wasn't around. It would have been an expensive day.
Tanah Boyd is a grade below still at this point.

Sure it’s not a great Manly team but 7 players in all stars and another 4-5 first choice injured we aren’t as stacked as some think
I personally don't want Mellars anywhere near the 1st grade team.

He will be interesting to see. This will be his first game of league won't it?
Unless he has played some school boys league.
What would be different if we were pumping them by 30 like we did against the Melbourne C team this time last year? Would that tell you that we are on track to win the premiership? Let's just understand that exactly nothing can be drawn out of this trial game. Let's save the freak outs for round 1 if we have a repeat of Vegas from last year.
