None hindsight: Todd smith was awful. How they missed that hip drop & the pace of our play the ball…. Terrible

Worse than all of MGTs mistakes I thought was Leka's drop ball on 1st tackle in the red zone. I knew we would lose then.

I put that on Egan.

Yes Leka should have caught but Egan picked up the ball, two steps out and then a floaty pass.

If you want Leka to crash there then ball needs to be off the deck to him and let him do the rest.

He was immense in getting us hard yards up the middle when our pack were huffing and puffing to get back

Apart from Moala, The rest of our youth were the best on field. Demetric, laban & Halasima were awesome.

Made me even more proud of the kid. He looked gone.Then ran a hundy to make that tackle.

He’s going to be an absolute star, he loves the contact. That return from the kick off was immense and then he let out a big holler after he played the ball. I’m finding his finesse pretty special for someone his age and early in his career. Some of the older guys are starting to look out of place with the energy the young guys coming through are bringing

I actually think it was the right move to start Niukore in the front row and it would have paid off had none of the craziness that followed happened.

Agree regarding Todd Smith. I do not want to get him in any future games this year.

CNK's defence,heart and committment more than makes up for any small deficiences in other areas. Would be ideal if he had a touch more pace but he has been comfortably our best player over the last month. He is also rock solid under the high ball (with the odd exception).

He is no Kalyn Ponga or Reece Walsh who can roam wide at pace and set up his outsides with a cut out pass but he gets everything out of the gifts he does have. If you could combine CNK's heart and defence with the attacking vision and pace of Walsh you would have the perfect fullback.

Im 90% sure there was a whistle, I thought it was strange that Ford paused and then tackled him after the whistle. That's why it was a penalty.

I find it hard to put my finger on what went wrong exactly - especially the second half.

Probably a combo of injuries and some weak defence.

Webby saying Metcalf had a bad cork. Must be pretty bad, was at 60% in that second half. I think if TMM wasn't playing centre (Surely Leka could have moved out) he would have been off. At least it shouldn't be a biggy to recover from, I'd be for him resting next week and seeing Boyd play.
