Terrible performance and not why we lost but….
I am sick to death of Skys shoddy production. Not getting a replay on the hip drop on DWZ in a timely manner cost us a penalty at least and probably a sin bin. - had it been binned then we could’ve activated 18th man.

DWZ tries to milk any head shot and should have really made sure he got the penalty there. I know sometimes you try and run it off but he couldnt walk and stayed on and we concede

I swear the production never used to be as bad. That 40/20 save from Laurie and you get no replay. The other week no clock.

Funny old game. We weren't terrible, a little luck went against us at times I thought, and a couple of poor calls against us, but again nothing that derailed us. Just seemed like we were rusty or didn't turn up, and a few things like injuries and poor decisions compounded the situation.

I'd say in the last 3 years that's probably one of our least impressive performances. We just weren't in the competition for most of the match. Barely fired a shot it seemed.

Ah well, banana skin game out of the way we can all rest easy

Seems like a bad idea not to kick deep from the drop out with 1 minute left before halftime. Think that try before halftime hurt. Don’t think Capewell in any way changes the result but a few little effort areas lacking at times that he usually leads

Only a couple points not too much to worry about, all the Aussie panels sucking off penrith because they’re missing 5 players. But they’re 4 time premiers still. And we’re without Berry, Ali, Capewell, Barnett, Tauapiki who are arguably all in our best 17.

To my points.
Why’d we stop the offloads? We were offloading at will our last 2 games and scored 80 points and were rolling the opps.

I’d possibly go Healy over Egan, he creates quick tempo around the ruck and the forwards really react off the back of him. Egans a bit slow motion

Warriors started with intensity. Then in an early set they rolled down the field with ease, Panthers had no line speed, but the set ended with an error. Next defensive set the Warriors energy seemed gone and suddenly they were playing to the Panthers level. Game was going to be a struggle from then

Penrith were fluke artists all night long. Nothing to read into this game. If we played that game with the same line up and over and over again we would win 19 out of 20 times. Just flukes. Jenkins with his lucky intercept. Lucky bounces of the ball. Lucky tackles that stopped both Laban and CHT 6 inches from the line. Marata unlucky to be caught in friendly fire and out of the game. Let's just hope Marata is back in two weeks and that Dallin pulls up ok as the real damage from that game won;t be the lost two points but any injuries that come from it.

Thought we were outenthused and outclassed by a near reserve grade side. Thos who shouldve lead the way didn't. Only one that can keep his head up is CNK.

Those saying RTS had a good game...beyond his inevitable meters out of yardage, he either refuses to, or cant catch contested kicks. Absolute liability.

CNK, Laban, Ford, Vaimaunga and Clark did their jobs, for the rest its back to the drawing board.

As much as we have good go forward. It was tough work getting down to their 20. Then when we were down there we'd often turn the ball over. A lot of the other games we had more opportunities down there.

Conceding 28 points isn't great. There were some good periods where we'd defend our line or scramble. There would have been some fatigue there late in the game with the injuries. The Panthers did well playing out their sets to keep the pressure on.

Similar to the Raiders game. They'd get down our end and someone would drop off a tackle or drop a high ball. The opposition were there to take advantage.

Ah well flush that game and move on to the next. Yep we ‘should’ have been too good but think we forgot there’s no easy games. Just one of those nights and hopefully the injury fallout is manageable - tough game next week before the bye so might need to cop another loss and reset after the bye
