Running one off the ruck will result in a loss. The only possibility of our lighter pack winning the important facets of metres, ruck speed and tackle dominance is to be:
1. Organised. If suggestions of lack of fitness are accurate really is no hiding it on this stage. So utilise the level of fitness available hyper efficiently. Know the fastest way forward. And that is not wrestling bigger packs. It is the adage of promoting the ball. Ball movement beats man movement.
2. That means runners. Never let Fish, Barney or our koros run one out. Run in numbers to unlock the ability to make a late pass at the line by our forwards. Or a bit of Addin and Ale late footwork. Therefore don't let Walker be the first sub or the only first sub. Leka on the field at 20-25 minutes gives us the timing and the speed and youthful vigour to move their big pack around.
3. Cue the skillset of Egan in the middle. Egan shall run, dummy and provide silky smooth passes on the back of it.
4. Cue the Metcalf, Tuaupiki and Roger cohort running lines and angles to further tire out the massive big boys and Jazz.
5. That's what I reckon

6. What say you?
