no doubt the squad on paper can still win. It's just the chopping and changing to the backline this week that worries me. I expect the attack to be quite clunky today, so defense is super important today.

If I'm webby, I'd be switching Barney and Marata around. We need Barney's defense in the middle today and Marata has always been more dangerous on the edge. Could provide another dimension of unpredictability to our attack that has been missing over the last few weeks.
CHT could provide that. He did well on that front in rd 4 the last time he played in the halves. His kicking game is also miles better than TMM, so I'd assume he'll be doing most of the kicking.

I'm not too worried about the left side as Chanel plays fairly direct and (usually) defends well. Last week the Phins tore the tigers up through the middle so I do echo the Barney to prop sentiment. Ruck control will need to be up defensively.
Also hoping to see Zyon Maiu’u but it would probably be at the cost of Laban so dunno. Gonna be a tough one
Can we manufacture 3-4 tries with a pure backup spine, last week makes me think we can, now they aren’t just doing the 3 trademark SJ moves on the right side. Dolphins will kick to their wingers and centres can Monty and MGT come down with the ball. Not too worried about the forwards.

Going to be interesting to see how we shape up after a nothing to lose performance last game. We have more injuries and outs from that last game. Dolphins haven't really had to travel and they have had a pretty good draw. Concerned about the Bennett factor but will be happy if we can compete and put in consistent effort. Keen to see how MGT goes at centre. Is he playing right with DWZ? Hope AW utilises the bench again
