Yes, plus big Tino and David Fifita. We should be too good for them through the middle, our pack should dominate.

They have a dangerous backline, so if we get a fair suck of the Sav from the Ref and we stick to our game plan, I am picking a good win for us.

Amazing we are flying so high at the business end of the year with Barny and Luka out. Credit to Webby, he has made us a proper team.
tbh Fifita has been a non-event for them all year. Don't think they'll miss him at all. Tino on the other hand is a big out for them. They still have some size though - Mo is an origin player. RCG off the bench will offer something for them. Admittedly, he hasn't been the same since leaving parra. Tits fans also have big raps on Ratston who is debuting for them and seems to be a big unit. They still have a powerful pack even without Tino.

Hope we learnt the lesson from last week and from Broncs last night and there is no complacency here. I want the titanic to go down tonight.

Besides the last season game during covid where some of our guys lost their cool, ANZAC Day last year and the thrashing they gave us last year. Or record hasn't been too bad against the Titans.

Hasler's 500th game in charge and the speculation around their club could mean they are up for it like the Knights last week.

Niukore playing his 150th. We have two ex Titans. Also the team and coaching staff will be keen to turn around last weeks performance. Sure, it was a win but it was lucky, won late due to individual brilliance. We have our own reasons to perform today.

These Mt Smart twilight games can end up with a good start and evening out as it turns into more of a night game.

After last week I'm glad I'm not seeing a lot of over confidence in this thread.

I'm hoping we can cut out the unforced errors early. Get our game going and apply some pressure on the Titans. Hopefully later in the game some of their issues through this season start to appear.

My worry about this game, and the rest of the year is our game plan.

Like 2023, we try to grind teams down to the point where we can take advantage of possession and territory, forcing errors and dumb plays out of the opposition, and then capitalizing on the back of that.

The last 4 games without Barney, we haven't been able to do that.
Too many errors, penalties, and leaky tries for us to really build any pressure, or the pressure that we build gets released.
Last week against th Knights was a great example, we dominated hard for the first 20 minutes and they ended up 6 all about the 25 minute mark.
We didn't capitalize on that possession and then when the other team scores, it seems like we lose confidence.

Imo, one of the things that haven't worked for us in the last 4 weeks is Ford. Starting off the bench, I feel he goes much better and often is able to get fast play the balls and has good leg drive. He started the last 2, and came on very early against Panthers after Niukore was HIA'd at 11 minutes in. He seems less effective starting and during those early exchanges, and has also had 6 errors&penalties in the last 4. Really needs to pick it up this game.

The Knights game was not won solely on individual efforts. There were repeated good sets to get into good field positions which were not taken advantage of. In saying that they have used their get out of jail card and nded tk be more pragmatic today

Ali L came off early too but some suggestions maybe injured
Was pretty low involvement
Healy was great as was Taufua who replaced him albeit against a poor rabbits side

The Donkeys gave us a free pass to create a bit of fresh air, would be absolutely fitting if we fumbled it at home against the Titans coming 17th.

We just need to do the exact opposite to what they did last night. Play our game, stay patient and grind down the Titans.

The right edge simply has to be better, none of this constant oh they adjusted at half time kaka. At some point the penny has to drop and it has to fix itself pre game, get on the same page.

We will win if we dictate the way the game is played, simple as that. Give them a sniff and our lack of pace will be shown in all it's glory.

We should win depending on how Capewah(too slow for centre) + DWZ edge hold today up will leak how many tries today ? all teams know their weakness ..I wish our coach would work it out ...IMHO I'd have swapped Capewah for Leka for this game ...DWZ to LEFT RIGHT OUT... anyone with some speed in the WAHS camp would be better but prob TT
